Wanapum Development definition

Wanapum Development means the second stage of the Priest Rapids Hydroelectric Project (F.P.C. (or FERC) Project No. 2114), as more fully described in Section 2.2 of Resolution No. 474 adopted by the Commission on June 30, 1959, or as the same may be modified in accordance with Section 2.3 of Resolution No. 474, but shall not include any generation, transmission and distribution facilities hereafter constructed or acquired by the District as a part of the Electric System, or any other utility properties of the District acquired as a separate utility system, the revenues of which may be pledged to the payment of bonds issued to purchase, construct or otherwise acquire such separate utility system.
Wanapum Development means the second stage of the Priest Rapids Project as more fully described in Section 2.2 of District Resolution No. 474, which is attached as Exhibit B, but shall not include any generation, transmission and distribution facilities hereafter constructed or acquired by the District as a part of the Electric System or the Priest Rapids Development, or any other utility properties of the District acquired or constructed as a separate utility system.
Wanapum Development means those properties and facilities consisting of the Wanapum dam, site, reservoir, switchyard and power plant, including all generating facilities associated therewith, up to and including ten (10) main turbine generator units each with a nameplate rating of approximately 83, 125 kilowatts, and transmission facilities as may be required to fully integrate with the Priest Rapids Development, and to deliver power in accordance with Section 7 hereof, and any interconnecting transmission facilities to connect with the Bonneville Power Administration facilities in the vicinity of the Project.

Examples of Wanapum Development in a sentence

  • The PRPO power to be delivered hereunder shall be made available to the Purchaser, at its option, exercisable from time to time, at any one or more of the following points: The 230 kV bus of the Bonneville Power Administration’s Midway Substation; The 230 kV bus of the switchyard of the Wanapum Development; The 230 kV bus of the Vantage Substation; or At any other location mutually agreed to in writing by the District and Purchaser.

Wanapum Development means those properties and facilities consisting of the Wanapum dam, site, reservoir, switchyard and power plant, including all generating facilities associated therewith up to and including the first eight (8) main turbine generator units each with a nameplate rating of approximately 71,250 kilowatts, and associated transmission facilities in the immediate vicinity of said switchyard and an undivided one-half interest in the interconnecting facilities between Priest Rapids switchyard and Wanapum switchyard.

  • experimental development means acquiring, combining, shaping and using existing scientific, technological, business and other relevant knowledge and skills with the aim of developing new or improved products, processes or services.
