Written grievance appeal definition

Written grievance appeal means a written or typed statement describing the event or action complained of, or the date of the event or action, and a concise description of those policies, procedures, regulations, ordinances, or statutes upon which the teacher bases his or her claim. The grievant shall specify what he or she expects to obtain through use of the grievance procedure. A statement shall be written upon forms prescribed by the State Board of Education and supplied by the local School Board.
