Year 2000 Complaint definition

Year 2000 Complaint means that neither performance nor functionality is affected by dates prior to, during or after the year 2000; in particular (i) no value for current date will cause any interruption in operation; (ii) date-based functionality must behave consistently for dates before, during and after the year 2000; (iii) in all interfaces and data storage, the century in any date is specified either explicitly or by unambiguous algorithms or inferencing rules; and (iv) the year 2000 must be recognized as a leap year.
Year 2000 Complaint means that such hardware and software will (i) correctly process date data from at least January 1, 1900 through December 31, 2000 without error or interruption due to date, (ii) maintain functionality with respect to the input, storing, processing or output of records or data containing dates falling on or after January 1, 2000, and (iii) be interoperable with other Year 2000 compliant hardware or software owned, used or licensed by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries which may deliver records to, receive records from or otherwise interact with such hardware or software in the course of processing records or data.
Year 2000 Complaint with respect to a Product means: (i) the Product accurately processes date and time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, sorting, indexing, comparing and sequencing) from, into, and between the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries, and the years 1999 and 2000 and leap year calculations, without error or interruption of any kind; and (ii) when the Product is used in combination with other products, the Product accurately processes date and time data if the other products properly exchange date and time data with it; and (iii) the Product accommodates date data recognition in a format which includes the correct presentation of the century as described above, all calculations performed by the Product correctly accommodate same and multi-century formulas and dates, date data and the date values and input/output of data values from and to the Product accurately reflect the correct century.

  • To the Knowledge of the Target, all Internal MIS Systems and Facilities are Year 2000 Complaint.

  • The Company has (a) initiated a review and assessment of all areas within its business and operations (including those affected by suppliers and vendors) that could reasonably be expected to be relevant to whether it is Year 2000 Complaint, (b) developed a plan and timeline for ensuring that it is Year 2000 Compliant on a timely basis, and (c) to date, implemented that plan in accordance with that timetable.


More Definitions of Year 2000 Complaint

Year 2000 Complaint means all Technology and the Developed Technology shall (a) not be materially affected by any inability to completely and accurately address, present, produce, story, and calculate data involving dates beginning with April 9, 1999, September 9, 1999, and January 1, 2000, and will not produce abnormally ending or incorrect results involving such dates as used in any forward or regression date-based function; or (b) function in such away that all "date' related functionalities and data fields include the indication of century and millennium and will perform calculations that involve a four-digit year field.
Year 2000 Complaint means the state and point in time when the Borrower's and its Subsidiaries' information processing, financial and business operations, systems and technologies (collectively, "Technologies") will accurately process date/time data (including without limitation calculating, comparing and sequencing) from, into and between the years 1999 and 2000, for their own accounts and when used in combination with the Technologies of third parties. Upon request, the Borrower will provide to the Agent evidence of the Borrower's and its Subsidiaries' compliance with the terms of this paragraph.
Year 2000 Complaint has the meaning set forth in Section 2.22.
Year 2000 Complaint means that (a) Complaint Product will accept, process and output data containing any dates falling in the range from 1900 through 2037 without loss of any functionality or any other processing anomalies, e.g. error or interruption, arising from or relating to the fact that a date occurs on or after September 9, 1999; (b) Compliant Product will correctly interpret and process every date that other software/hardware may deliver to the Complaint Product in the cause of processing data, as long as the date delivered conforms to the requirements of the Complaint Product, and it will deliver to interfacing software/hardware data that conform to a four-digit date format unless otherwise agreed; and (c) The determination of whether a year is a leap year is made in accordance with the Gregorian calendar.
Year 2000 Complaint means, as to any computer application used by the Borrowers or any Subsidiary of Borrower, or any supplier, vendor or customer of the Borrowers or any of their Subsidiaries, that such computer application will not be negatively impacted by the Year 2000 Problem and that such computer application is reasonably expected on a timely basis to be able to properly recognize and perform data-sensitive functions for all dates before and after January 1, 2000.
Year 2000 Complaint or "Y2K Compliant" means that financial accounting, management reporting, telecommunications, environmental, access control or security Systems will accurately process, provide and/or receive date/time data (including without limitation calculating, comparing, and sequencing), within, from, into, and between centuries (including without limitation the twentieth and twenty-first centuries), including leap year calculations, and neither the performance nor the functionality of the System will be affected by dates/times prior to, on, after, or spanning January 1, 2000.
