EXCLUSIONS. 4.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the plan of the system, the installation of equipment supplied, special testing, manuals and trading courses, assistance with start-up and all services and costs not mentioned in the Supplier’s written confirmation of acceptance of the order shall not be included in the supply. 4.2 Likewise the costs of packing, taxes, stamp duties, customs expenses, duties and any other extra expenses shall not be included in the prices unless otherwise stated in the Supplier’s written confirmation of acceptance of order.
EXCLUSIONS. The services are not owed if the Insured fails to comply with the Organiser’s instructions, or: • the Insured voluntarily discharges him/herself against the opinion of the establishment where he/she is hospitalised; • the Insured, or someone on his/her behalf, voluntarily refuses medical transport/repatriation. In this case, the Organiser will automatically suspend its assistance, and the Company will reimburse any further expenses incurred if considered appropriate and, in any case, up to the amount corresponding to the cost of the refused transport/repatriation.
EXCLUSIONS. All indemnities, services, consequences and/or events directly or indirectly arising from the following are excluded from the insurance: a) Reasons or causes which have already occurred at the time the policy was taken out or which could reasonably have been foreseen, medical examinations which are objectively foreseeable and/or scheduled b) causes and events not adequately documented; c) unlawful conduct or malicious behaviour, whether effected or attempted by the Insured; suicide or attempted suicide; d) mental illnesses, states of anxiety, stress and depression, mental disorders in general and neuroses, and also Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS); irrational fears or phobias(e.g. an act of war, popular uprising, act of terrorism and aeroplane crashes); e) pre-existing illnesses, i.e chronic ongoing or congenital or genetic disorders or conditions, of which the Insured is aware at the time the policy is stipulated; f) intoxications, illnesses and accidents consequent on and arising from the abuse of alcohol and drugs, as well as the non-therapeutic use of hallucinogens and narcotics; g) Travel undertaken against medical advice and/or for the purpose of undergoing medical, surgical, aesthetic or rehabilitative treatment. Elimination or correction of physical defects or malformations that existed before the policy was taken out. Purchase of dental prostheses, orthopaedic or therapeutic devices h) conditions on pregnancy beyond the 26th week of gestation, and the post-natal period. Threatened miscarriage in the event of negligence or wilful misconduct by the Insured; i) Illness and accidents arising from acts of daring or sports activities (purely by way of example those included in Group C and Group D below). Sports activities included in Group A and Group B below are covered only if carried out at amateurial level, inside the indicated safety rules and prescriptions, and with the use of all prescribed safety equipment.
EXCLUSIONS. The Insurance is not valid for: a) urgent hospital services which are expression or direct consequence of pathological situations arising prior to the stipulation of the policy, as well as any previous or recurrent illnesses; b) mental illnesses and mental disorders in general, including neurotic behavior; c) Treatment and operation for the elimination or correction of physical defects and pre- existing malformations on the date of stipulation of the policy; d) dental and periodontal treatment; e) the consequences of wars, insurrections, earthquakes or volcanic eruptions; f) accidents resulting from malicious offenses committed by the Insured Party (including accidents caused by gross negligence); g) accidents, illnesses and intoxication resulting from alcohol abuse, or suffered under the influence of hallucinogens, psychotropic drugs and narcotics, as well as diseases related to the non-therapeutic use of psychotropic drugs or narcotics, alcohol abuse and/or psychotropic substances; h) accidents resulting from preforming air sports in general or of any professionally preformed sport; i) accidents deriving from participation in non-regulated racing or motor racing races, motorcycles and motorboats, and related tests and training sessions; j) surgical interventions aimed at correcting the deviation of the septum and the nasal pyramid, except for those which become necessary following an accident that took place while the policy was in force, duly and exclusively documented by a first aid certificate and x-ray examination attesting to the fracture of the nasal bones.
EXCLUSIONS. This insurance does not cover: 1.1. any loss or damage or liability directly or indirectly occasioned by, happening through or in consequence of war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, or confiscation or nationalisation or requisition or destruction of or damage to property by or under the order of any government or public or local authority. (a) loss or destruction of or damage to any property whatsoever, or any loss or expenses whatsoever resulting or arising therefrom (b) any legal liability of whatsoever nature directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to by or arising from: (i) ionising radiations or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, (ii) the radioactive, toxic, explosive or other hazardous properties of any explosive nuclear assembly or nuclear component thereof.

EXCLUSIONS. This insurance does not cover: 1.1 any loss directly or indirectly occasioned by the following events: war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, confiscation, nationalisation, requisition, destruction of or damage to property by or under the order of any Government or Public or Local Authority. (a) damage to any property whatsoever as well as any loss or expense resulting or arising therefrom and any consequential loss, (b) any legal liability of whatsoever nature, directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to by or arising from: (i) ionising radiations or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, (ii) the radioactive, toxic, explosive or other hazardous properties of any explosive nuclear assembly or nuclear component thereof.
EXCLUSIONS. Reimbursements, compensations and benefits resulting from: a. injuries, illnesses, malformations, physical defects and pathological conditions diagnosed before the stipulation of the contract concealed from Europ Assistance with intent or gross negligence; b. participation of the insured in malicious crimes; c. pathological conditions related to HIV infection; d. mental illnesses and mental disorders in general, including neurotic behavior; e. injuries and illnesses resulting from alcohol abuse, the use of hallucinogens and the non- therapeutic use of psychotropic drugs and narcotics; f. non-therapeutic voluntary abortion; g. accidents resulting from criminal actions committed by the Insured Party; including those suffered as a result of imprudence or even negligence of the Insured Party itself; h. accidents resulting from air sports and from participation in motor races and related tests and training, except in the case of regulated races; i. accidents resulting from or attributable to activities involving the use of firearms; j. dental care, dental prostheses and periodontopathogens not resulting from injury; k. applications of an aesthetic nature (except for plastic or stemmatological reconstructive surgery made necessary by injury or illness); l. consequences of wars and insurrections, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and floods; m. active participation of the Insured Party in acts of war, declared or unreported, civil war, acts of terrorism, revolution, public turmoil or any military operation; the coverage is also excluded if the Insured Party has not taken an active part in acts of war, declared or unreported or of civil war and the loss of self-sufficiency occurs after 14 days from the beginning of hostilities if the Insured Party is already in territory of occurrence; the existence of a war and similar situation in a country at the time of the Insured Party's arrival implies the exclusion from the insurance coverage; n. consequences of transformations or energy settlements of the atom, natural or provoked, and accelerations of atomic particles (fission and nuclear fusion, radioactive isotopes, accelerating machines, X-rays, etc.); o. purchase, maintenance and repair of prosthetic and therapeutic devices; p. stays in spas, in nursing homes specialized in nervous and tubercular diseases, in residences and convalescence homes, retirement homes (even if they are qualified as health institutes); q. negligence, imprudence and inexperience in following me...
