Purpose. The purpose of the SLA is to state the service levels, which DANS aims to maintain in providing DataverseNL as a proper, maintainable, and cost- effective service to participating Dutch universities, universities of applied sciences and research institutes.

1. The system will be deployed exclusively on the high seas.
2. The system will not be deployed in areas under national jurisdiction without the consent of the State or States concerned.
3. The system will create as little hindrance as possible to established international shipping routes with a high density of passing vessels. The origin of the system and its connection to the Netherlands will be displayed through identification markings affixed to the system.
Purpose. This Agreement establishes rules and procedures for the protection of Classified Information exchanged between the aforementioned Parties, their accredited individuals, bodies, as well as public or private entities under their jurisdiction.
Purpose a) The following procedures have been developed by the Department of Defense of the United States (DoD) and the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (MODNL), hereinafter referred to as “the Participants”; to implement the provisions of the General Security Agreement (GSA) between the Gov- ernment of the United States and the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, entered into on August 18, 1960, as amended, and replaces the Security Procedures for Industrial Operations between the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Department of Defense of the United States, dated April 9, 1982. That Agreement provides for the safeguarding of all classified information exchanged between the Governments. This Implementing Arrangement (hereinafter referred to as “Ar- rangement”) will apply to those cases in which contracts, subcontracts, pre-contract negotiations or other government approved Arrangements involving classified information of the Participants, are placed or entered into by or on behalf of the MODNL in the United States (U.S.) or by or on behalf of the DoD in the Kingdom of the Netherlands (NL).
b) Within the framework of their national legislation, each Participant will take all appropriate measures to ensure the protection of classified information or materiel provided pursuant to this Arrangement.
c) ″The U.S. DoD hereby designates the Director, International Security Programs Directorate, Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Technology Security Policy and Counterproliferation) as its Desig- nated Security Authority (DSA) to provide policy oversight concerning the provisions of this Arrange- ment. For the NL MOD the DSA is the Director of the Defence Intelligence and Security Service (DDISS).
Purpose. The Issuer shall, and shall procure that its Subsidiaries will, use the proceeds of the Bonds (either directly or after on-lending):
(a) for the financing of the realisation of Projects; and
(b) subject to paragraph (c) of Condition 10.13, for the repayment of Group Loans. However, the Issuer shall not, and shall procure that none of its Subsidiaries will, use the proceeds of the Bonds to repay Project Financial Indebtedness before its stated maturity.

Purpose. The main purpose of the present Agreement is to establish the terms of cooperation between UNESCO and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on behalf of Curaçao, (hereinafter jointly referred to as: “the Parties”) concerning the arrangements to be made for the above-mentioned session. The Session shall be held in Willemstad (Curaçao) under the auspices of the Meteorological Department of Curaçao, from 2 to 4 April 2012.

Purpose. This Agreement provides a framework to facilitate defense cooperation activities. Such defense cooperation activities may include, but are not limited to the following: – Research, development, testing, and evaluation; – Production and follow-on support; – Exchange of information; – Exchange of personnel; – Military exercises and operations; – Maintenance, in-service and logistic support, supplies, and services; – Education; and – Lease or loan of equipment and material. Whenever the Parties’ national defense organizations, within the limits of defense responsibilities and auth- orities as established by the respective Party, enter into memoranda of understanding (MoUs) or other writ- ten arrangements for defense cooperation activities, such MoUs or other written arrangements shall only be subject to this Agreement if this Agreement is explicitly invoked by such MoUs or other written arrangements.
