Common use of 021 Annual Allowance Clause in Contracts

021 Annual Allowance. Except for regular, part-time employees, employees shall be entitled to a minimum of fifteen (15) days sick leave with pay for each year under contract, credited at the rate of one and one-fourth (1-1/4) days per month. Regular, part-time employees will earn sick time at a rate of 4.6 hours for 80 hours worked. Effective with the 2015-2016 contract year, all employees’ sick days shall be converted to an equivalent number of hours, which shall become the method of accounting for sick leave accumulation and use. This language supersedes any conflicting or contrary language elsewhere in the Agreement.
