Acceptance of Waste. The Landfill shall have operating guidelines in place to both monitor and control the material accepted into the Landfill. All vehicles delivering waste to the landfill site shall be screened, to ensure they are carrying acceptable waste that is in compliance with our Landfill Operating Permit. If Scale attendant is suspicious of material entering the active area he shall make communication with on site staff stating the load is to be monitored. Upon entering Landfill customers are have available Landfill operation information that is to be placed at the entrance. When customers enter on to the scale, the attendant is to ask what articles they want to dispose of. If the material is acceptable, it is to be weighed and logged and the customer is to be directed to the proper drop off area. 1) Waste Receiving and tipping fee recording (a) Vehicle identification (b) Time of entry/exit (c) Type of material (d) Gross, net, tare weight There is a scale log that needs to be filled out by the customer were he/she will be asked to print the name of the carrier, their name as well as a signature along side of the issued ticket number. This is to be completed in case of a discrepancy when the billing is completed at month end. If required there is available room for notes regarding that particular load.

Acceptance of Waste. In accordance with applicable operational protocol established by Contractor and with the approval of the County, Contractor shall provide, operate, and maintain facilities for the receipt of Acceptable Waste. Contractor shall assume ownership of all waste once tipped at the Transfer Stations and Recycling Facility. The County makes no assurances or guarantees regarding the quantity of materials that will be delivered to the Transfer Stations.
Acceptance of Waste. Contractor shall accept all Municipal Solid Waste from City’s Designated Haulers and shall charge City the Tipping Fee therefor. Contractor shall have no obligation to accept Excluded Waste.
Acceptance of Waste. The Contractor has the affirmative duty to accept (or cause to be accepted) from Permitted Haulers, at the Landfill, all Solid Waste and Beneficial Use Material generated in San Francisco, subject to payment to Contractor of the Fees provided for under this Agreement. This section shall not bar Contractor from setting reasonable rates and terms for services not covered by this Agreement that the Contractor may provide to Permitted Haulers or other parties.
Acceptance of Waste. Company shall only accept and deposit Solid Waste at the Landfill as permitted by Applicable Law. Without limiting the foregoing, Company shall not accept or deposit any Excluded Waste, Universal Waste, E-Waste, Green Waste or Recyclables at the Landfill. Company shall be solely responsible for violating this section and shall indemnify and hold the City harmless from its failure to do so.

  • Acceptance of AAU You will have accepted an AAU for an Offering if: (a) we receive your acceptance, prior to the time specified in the Invitation Wire for such Offering, by wire, telex, telecopy or electronic data transmission, or other written communication (any such communication being deemed “In Writing”) or orally (if promptly confirmed In Writing), in the manner specified in the Invitation Wire, of our invitation to participate in the Offering, or (b) notwithstanding that we did not send you an Invitation Wire or you have not otherwise responded In Writing to any such Wire, you: (i) agree (orally or by a Wire) to be named as an Underwriter in the relevant Underwriting Agreement executed by us as Manager, or (ii) receive and retain an economic benefit for participating in the Offering as an Underwriter. Your acceptance of the invitation to participate will cause such AAU to constitute a valid and binding contract between us. Your acceptance of the AAU as provided above or an Invitation Wire will also constitute acceptance by you of the terms of subsequent Wires to you relating to the Offering unless we receive In Writing, within the time and in the manner specified in such subsequent Wire, a notice from you to the effect that you do not accept the terms of such subsequent Wire, in which case you will be deemed to have elected not to participate in the Offering.

  • Acceptance of Agreement This Agreement shall not be considered accepted, approved or otherwise effective until the statutorily required approvals and certifications have been given.

  • Acceptance of the Work 19.1 No act of, or failure to act by, the Owner or the OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE during the course of the Work, nor any extension of time for the completion of the Work, shall be regarded as an acceptance of such Work or any part thereof, or of materials used therein, either wholly or in part. No waiver of any breach of this Contract by the Owner or anyone acting on Owner's behalf shall be held as a waiver of any other subsequent breach thereof. 19.2 Contractor agrees to guarantee all work under this Contract for a period of one year from the date of Final Payment by the Owner or within such longer period of time as may be prescribed by law or by the terms of any applicable special guarantee required under terms of Owner’s conditional acceptance of elements of the Work the Owner deems marginally substandard. If any unsatisfactory condition or damage develops within the time of this guarantee period due to materials or workmanship that are defective, inferior, or not in accordance with the Contract, as reasonably determined by the Owner or the OWNER’S REPRESENTATIVE, then the Contractor shall, when notified by the Owner or OWNER’S REPRESENTATIVE, immediately place such guaranteed Work in a condition satisfactory to the Owner or OWNER’S REPRESENTATIVE. Such guarantee shall be in addition to any implied warranty under law or other manufacturer’s or product supplier’s warranty. The provisions of this Article apply to Work done by Subcontractors as well as to Work done by direct employees of the Contractor, and are in addition to any other remedies or warranties provided by law.

  • Acceptance of Engagement The successor Servicer will accept its engagement by assuming the Servicer’s obligations under this Agreement or entering into an amendment to this Agreement or a new servicing agreement on substantially the same terms as this Agreement, in a form acceptable to the Owner Trustee and the Indenture Trustee. The successor Servicer will deliver a copy of the assumption, amendment or new servicing agreement to the other parties and the Indenture Trustee. The successor Servicer will accept its engagement as Administrator according to Section 3.5 of the Administration Agreement. Promptly following a successor Servicer’s acceptance of its engagement, the Indenture Trustee will notify the Issuer, the Owner Trustee and the Secured Parties of the engagement. On receipt of a notice of engagement, the Issuer will promptly notify the Rating Agencies and the Asset Representations Reviewer and the Owner Trustee will promptly notify the holder of the Residual Interest.
