In the event an employee is absent from work without pay for more than thirty calendar days in the twelve months preceding the employee’s anniversary date, excluding an unpaid leave of absence due to a Workers’ Compensation claim, the annual allowance of vacation leave to be credited for the next year will be adjusted on a prorated basis, with 260 days equal to 100%.
