Accrual During Leaves of Absence. In the event an employee is absent from work without pay for more than thirty calendar days in the six-month accrual period, including an unpaid leave of absence due to a Workers’ Compensation claim, the semi-annual allowance of sick leave to be credited for the next six months will be adjusted on a prorated basis, with 130 days equal to 100%.
