Common use of Accrual of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave Clause in Contracts

Accrual of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. (a) For each year of service with his or her employer, an employee is entitled to 10 days of paid personal/xxxxx’s leave. (b) An employee’s entitlement to paid personal/carer’s leave accrues progressively during a year of service according to the employee’s ordinary hours of work, and accumulates from year to year. (c) No payment will be made in lieu of accumulated personal/xxxxx’s leave. (d) Casual employees have no entitlement to paid personal/xxxxx’s leave.
