Accrual of Leave (a) An employee’s entitlement to paid recreation leave accrues progressively during a year of service according to the employee’s ordinary hours of work.
(b) If an employee takes unpaid leave that does not count as service, leave will not accrue for that period.

Use of Personal Vehicles When employees are authorized to use their personal vehicles to transport clients or residents in the care of the State, the State agrees to provide, subject to the rules and regulations of the Comptroller, a supplemental mileage allowance rate of seven cents ($.07) per mile for the use of such personal vehicle.

Accrual of Interest Each Note will accrue interest at a rate per annum equal to 3.50% (the “Stated Interest”), plus any Additional Interest and Special Interest that may accrue pursuant to Sections 3.04 and 7.03, respectively. Accrual of Sick Leave a. A full-time employee shall accrue four (4) hours of sick leave for each biweekly pay period, or the number of hours that are directly proportionate to the number of days worked during less than a full-pay period, without limitation as to the total number of hours that may be accrued.
b. A part-time employee shall accrue sick leave at a rate directly proportionate to the percent of time employed.
c. An employee appointed under Other Personal Services (OPS) shall not accrue sick leave.
Use of Personal Vehicle Employees will not be required to use their personal vehicle for Company business.
