Common use of Acting Assignments Clause in Contracts

Acting Assignments. It is agreed that the Acting List will be used to determine entitlement to acting assignments in the rank on that platoon. The successful promotion competition candidates will form the first candidates to be considered on the Platoon Chief Acting List. All other candidates will be ranked in accordance to their time in the current rank. The Acting List shall be updated by the Deputy Chief Urban Operations after each promotion.

The Employees hired before January 1, 2004 will be eligible to act without completing all the promotional requirements.
