Acting Secondary School Vice-Principal. (a) An acting Vice-Principal position may be created when there are no fully qualified administrative candidates in the Vice-Principal promotional pool or when candidates in the pool have been offered but have declined to accept an offer of a position. (b) A teacher may be appointed as an acting Vice-Principal for a period of up to one (1) school year. (c) A teacher shall have the right to refuse an appointment to an Acting Vice-Principal position. (d) Once in an Acting Vice-Principal position where the teacher is being replaced by an Occasional Teacher, the teacher has the right to return to the teacher’s regular teaching position with five (5) days notice to the appropriate supervisor. Lesser periods of notice will be considered in extenuating circumstances. In all cases, the teacher appointed to an Acting Vice-Principal position shall be entitled to, subject to Article 17, return to the same school in which the teacher was most recently employed and to the previously held position if the position still exists. (e) For the duration of a teacher’s appointment to an Acting Vice-Principal position, the terms and conditions of employment for Vice-Principals shall apply to the teacher as well as the terms of this Collective Agreement including but not limited to Articles 11 and 12 but excluding Articles 6, 8 and 25. In particular: (1) the teacher shall continue to be enrolled in the benefit plans applicable as a teacher; and (2) the teacher shall continue to accrue seniority as a teacher; and (3) the teacher shall pay OSSTF and Bargaining Unit dues on the salary received. (f) Teachers in the position of Acting Vice-Principal shall not be responsible for evaluations or for discipline of other teachers.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where Freedom has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to Freedom. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for Freedom (e.g. hairpinning): 1. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to any spare copper that exists to the customer premises. 2. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to an existing DLC that is not integrated. 3. If capacity exists, provide "side-door" porting through the switch. 4. If capacity exists, provide "Digital Access Cross Connect System (DACS)- door" porting (if the IDLC routes through a DACS prior to integration into the switch). 2.6.2 Arrangements 3 and 4 above require the use of a designed circuit.   • Freedom to Trade in Company Securities The Rights Agent and any stockholder, director, officer or employee of the Rights Agent may buy, sell or deal in any of the Rights or other securities of the Company or become pecuniarily interested in any transaction in which the Company may be interested, or contract with or lend money to the Company or otherwise act as fully and freely as though it were not Rights Agent under this Agreement.
