General Wage Increases The Employer and the Union agree that the new Collective Agreement shall reflect wage adjustments as follows:
General Wage Increase Effective July 1, 2007, a general wage increase consisting of 2% was added to each grade and step of the pay plan(s) affecting the bargaining unit employees. Effective July 1, 2008, a general wage increase consisting of 2% will be added to each grade and step of the pay plan(s) affecting the bargaining unit employees.
Additional Services Compensation Additional Services Compensation shall be the fees determined in accordance with Article 7 to be paid by the Owner to the Professional Consultant in connection with the performance of Additional Services.
Additional Compensation Notwithstanding anything in this Memorandum of Understanding to the contrary when in the judgment of the Board, it becomes necessary or desirable to utilize the services of County employees in capacities other than those for which they are regularly employed, the Board may authorize and, if appropriate, fix an additional rate of compensation for such employees.
Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.
Additional Annual Leave (a) Shift Worker as defined by the Act An employee is entitled to accrue an additional amount of paid annual leave, for each completed 12 month period of continuous service with the employer, of 1/52 of the number of ordinary hours worked by the employee, for the employer, as a Shift Worker as defined by the Act during that 12 month period. The additional paid annual leave set out in this sub-clause is not cumulative upon the additional paid annual leave set out in the next sub-clause 21.6(b). The entitlement set out in this sub-clause shall only apply in the event that it provides a more favourable outcome for the employee and, if it does, then sub-clause 21.6(b) shall not apply.
Bilingual Differential Pay Bilingual Differential Pay applies to those positions designated by the Department of Personnel Administration as eligible to receive bilingual pay according to the following standards:
COMPENSATION FOR CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES 5.1 For the Construction Manager’s performance of the Work as described in Section 2.3, the Owner shall pay the Construction Manager the Contract Sum in current funds. The Contract Sum is the Cost of the Work as defined in Section 6.1.1 plus the Construction Manager’s Fee.
Parental and Adoption Leave Allowance (a) A Nurse entitled to parental or adoption leave under the provisions of this Agreement, who provides the Employer with proof that she/he has applied for and is eligible to receive employment insurance (E. I.) benefits pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act, 1996, shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the Supplementary Employment Benefit (S.E.B.) Plan.
Additional Leaves Should an employee require additional time to care for a gravely ill family member, additional leaves may be granted beyond the eight (8) week period specified above. Such additional leave shall be pursuant to Article 13.02
