Alternative Work Schedules. At the option of management or at the request of the unit member, an alternate work schedule may be established in accordance with the provisions below when such assignments are needed for the operation of the District, or if by reason of the work location and duties, the unit member's services are not required for a workweek of fivefive (5) consecutive days. Volunteers in the classification needed will be considered first. If more than one (1) unit member volunteers, seniority will be one of the considerations in making the final decision.
