Four-Ten Workweek. If a holiday is celebrated on Friday or Monday, four 10-hour straight-time weekdays may be worked during the calendar week in which a holiday is celebrated to enable Teamsters to have a 3-day weekend. In addition, the Employer may choose to work four 10-hour, straight-time weekdays during the week preceding or following this holiday week, to enable Teamsters to have a 4-day weekend. Jobs which have worked overtime on a regular basis within two weeks of the holiday may not change the workweek in accordance with this Paragraph. Notice must be given to the Union at least three (3) work days before the first 4-10 day is worked. A Teamster who is entitled to a paid holiday pursuant to Article X, Paragraph 1 shall receive payment for the holiday even if he works 40 hours during the holiday week pursuant to this Paragraph. A Teamster who has acquired seniority and who has worked 40 hours during the 4-10 week shall receive five (5) days of pension contributions, in addition to any holiday pay.
Four-Ten Workweek. The Company may establish Monday through Friday bid schedules for four (4) days per week at ten (10) hours per day. Overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1½) times and employee’s straight time rate on a regular workday is to be paid for hours worked in excess ten (10) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week. Overtime in excess of twelve (12) hours per day will be paid at double time (2T) the straight time rate of pay. All work on the 5th, 6th, and 7th day of the workweek shall be at double time (2T) the straight time rate of pay. T/A Employer may not have more than thirty (30) percent of the total annual amount of bids as 4x10’s bid. Of the established agreed to 4x10 bids fifteen (15) percent of the bids must be three (3) consecutive days off. T/A Supplemental work and replacement for absences less than a full week will be offered to drivers on layoff, and then to a 4x10 driver off that day prior to the use of any other employees or casual.   • Workweek A regularly re-occurring period of one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours consisting of seven (7) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour periods. Workweeks will normally begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday or as otherwise designated by the appointing authority. If there is a change in their workweek, employees will be given written notification by the appointing authority or their designee.

  • Normal Workweek The normal workweek shall consist of five (5) days, eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. This Article shall not restrict the extension of the regular workday or workweek on an overtime basis when such is necessary to carry on the business of the District.

  • Basic Work Week ‌ a) The basic work week of an employee working full- time shall be forty (40) hours consisting of five eight hour days; b) Daily hours of work shall be consecutive with the exception of rest and meal periods. No split shifts shall be worked; c) Employees shall not work longer than their regular, scheduled work day, unless requested to do so by Management; in which event, additional time will be paid at applicable regular or overtime rates. Employees are required to leave the store as soon as it is reasonable to do so.

  • WORK CLOTHING Two sets of cotton drill protective clothing will be issued to all employees, upon request, within two weeks of commencing work with the Company. Employees will be made aware of these entitlements at the time of employment. A set of clothing will consist of either: • Two pairs of overalls; or • Two combination bib and brace; or • Two pairs of long trousers and two long sleeved shirt; or • Work denims at cost no greater than the above three choices • Clothing and footwear will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week for full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be forty (40) hours, exclusive of the time allotted for meal periods, consisting of five (5) consecutive work days followed by two (2) consecutive days off. The week shall commence with the shift that includes 12:01 A.M. Sunday of each calendar week and end at the start of the shift that includes 12:00 midnight the following Saturday. The Employer retains the right to modify the work schedules to meet operational needs.

  • Work Day and Work Week The normal work day shall consist of up to 8 hours of work within a 24-hour period. The normal work week shall consist of up to 40 hours of work within a 7-day period. The Employer may define the work week on an individual, department, shift or facility basis in accordance with Federal and State law.

  • Normal Work Day The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday, provided however that nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any EMPLOYEE eight (8) hours of work per day or forty (40) hours per week. A single shift shall consist of eight (8) hours of continuous employment, except for unpaid lunch period, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Workday and Workweek The regular workweek of a full-time employee in the bargaining unit shall be forty (40) hours and shall consist of five (5) consecutive days of eight (8) hours per day.
