Common use of Ambulance Escort Clause in Contracts

Ambulance Escort. The Hospital will continue its present practice of paying the appropriate overtime rate for all hours over seven and one-half (7½) hours that an employee is assigned to provide patient care for a patient in transit, including hours spent in return travel, less eight (8) hours at straight time, for sleep, if an overnight stop is required.
