Common use of Annual Entitlement Clause in Contracts

Annual Entitlement. (a) The Executive shall be entitled to 28 days' paid holiday in each holiday year excluding the usual public holidays in England. (b) Entitlement to contractual holidays is accrued pro rata throughout the holiday year. The Executive will be entitled to take public and customary holidays on the days that they are recognised by the Company during the holiday year. (c) The Executive may carry any unused holiday entitlement forward to the next holiday year in accordance with the Company’s policy on holidays as may apply from time to time, save that any agreement shall be from the Chairman.
