Application for Seniority. For vacation purposes, the employee's seniority shall date from the initial date of employment regardless of whether the work is part-time or full-time; however, during the initial year of employment, an employee shall be accorded annual holiday pay, in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, for one (1) day for each month worked to a maximum of ten (10) working days.
Application for Seniority. In all applications of seniority under this Agreement the ability of the employee shall mean having at least a satisfactory rating or better from his/her/their last performance review, the qualifications and ability (including physical fitness) of an employee to perform the required work. Where the last performance review is satisfactory or better, ability and qualifications to perform the required work are, among the employees concerned, relatively equal seniority as defined above shall govern.
Application for Seniority. Seniority rules are applied firstly to the employees of the department concerned before looking elsewhere in the plant.
