Applying for Days a. Application for sick leave bank days will be made to the chairperson of the Sick Leave Bank Committee on a Sick Leave Bank Request Form. b. To be eligible for sick leave bank utilization, an employee must have exhausted all available sick leaves, comp time and vacation before sick bank days will be granted. c. The employee must have physician's statement when applying for days from the sick leave bank.

Applying for Days a. Application for sick leave bank days will be made to the chairperson of the Sick Leave Bank Committee on a Sick Leave Bank Request Form. b. To be eligible for sick leave bank utilization, an employee must have exhausted all of personal accrued sick leave, comp time, and vacation and must be out of work for at least ten (10) consecutive workdays. Accumulated sick leave, comp time, vacation will be applied in that order. If the employee does not have at least (10) days of paid time accrual available to them, they will be placed on Leave Without Pay for any time within the (10) consecutive workdays waiting period once all of their paid accruals are exhausted. Use of personal time is not mandatory and is an option to avoid Leave Without Pay if the member has exhausted all other sick, vacation and comp time accruals prior to the ten (10) consecutive workdays threshold being met. c. The employee must have physician's statement when applying for days from the sick leave bank.

  • Termination Notice for Force Majeure Event If a Force Majeure Event subsists for a period of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days or more within a continuous period of 365 (three hundred and sixty five) days, either Party may in its discretion terminate this Agreement by issuing a Termination Notice to the other Party without being liable in any manner whatsoever, save as provided in this Article 34, and upon issue of such Termination Notice, this Agreement shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, stand terminated forthwith; provided that before issuing such Termination Notice, the Party intending to issue the Termination Notice shall inform the other Party of such intention and grant 15 (fifteen) days time to make a representation, and may after the expiry of such 15 (fifteen) days period, whether or not it is in receipt of such representation, in its sole discretion issue the Termination Notice.

  • Purchase Order A Customer may use purchase orders to buy commodities or contractual services pursuant to the Contract and, if applicable, the Contractor must provide commodities or contractual services pursuant to purchase orders. Purchase orders issued pursuant to the Contract must be received by the Contractor no later than the close of business on the last day of the Contract’s term. The Contractor is required to accept timely purchase orders specifying delivery schedules that extend beyond the Contract term even when such extended delivery will occur after expiration of the Contract. Purchase orders shall be valid through their specified term and performance by the Contractor, and all terms and conditions of the Contract shall survive the termination or expiration of the Contract and apply to the Contractor’s performance. The duration of purchase orders for recurring deliverables shall not exceed the expiration of the Contract by more than twelve months. Any purchase order terms and conditions conflicting with these Special Contract Conditions shall not become a part of the Contract.

  • Available Relief for a Force Majeure Event 11.7.1 Subject to this Article 11: (a) no Party shall be in breach of its obligations pursuant to this Agreement except to the extent that the performance of its obligations was prevented, hindered or delayed due to a Force Majeure Event; (b) every Party shall be entitled to claim relief in relation to a Force Majeure Event in regard to its obligations, including but not limited to those specified under Article 4.5; (c) For avoidance of doubt, neither Party’s obligation to make payments of money due and payable prior to occurrence of Force Majeure events under this Agreement shall be suspended or excused due to the occurrence of a Force Majeure Event in respect of such Party. (d) Provided that no payments shall be made by either Party affected by a Force Majeure Event for the period of such event on account of its inability to perform its obligations due to such Force Majeure Event.

  • Recall Period Post probationary employees who are laid-off beyond a one year period of time shall be deemed to be terminated. Probationary employees who are laid-off beyond a three month period of time shall be deemed to be terminated.
