Common use of Appraisal Period Clause in Contracts

Appraisal Period. (i) When a currently employed regular employee is selected to fill a vacancy posted under Article 13.01, the employee shall serve an appraisal period not exceeding six (6) calendar months in the new position. During this period the employee shall be returned to their former position (or equivalent to their former position as mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union) and pay rate without a loss in seniority in the following circumstances:

Appraisal Period. (i) When a currently employed regular employee is selected to fill a vacancy posted under Article 13.01vacancy, the employee shall serve an appraisal period not exceeding six three (63) calendar months in the new position. During this period the employee shall be returned to their former position (or equivalent to their former position as mutually agreed between the Employer and the Unionposition) and pay rate without a loss in seniority in the following circumstancesif:

(ia) When a currently employed regular employee is selected to fill a vacancy posted under Article 13.01Section 14:01, the employee s/he shall serve an appraisal period not exceeding six (6) calendar months in the new position. During this period period, the employee shall be returned to their her/his former position (or equivalent to their former position as mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union) classification and pay rate without a loss in seniority in seniority, should s/he desire to return, or the following circumstances:Employer feels that s/he has proved to be unsatisfactory or unable to perform the duties of the new position.

During this period period, the employee shall be returned to their former position (or equivalent to their former position as mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union) and pay rate without a loss in seniority in the following circumstances:

During this period period, the employee shall be returned to their her/his former position (or equivalent to their former position as mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union) classification and pay rate without a loss in seniority in seniority, should s/he desire to return, or the following circumstances:Employer feels that s/he has proved to be unsatisfactory or unable to perform the duties of the new position.

(i1) When a currently employed regular employee is selected to fill a vacancy posted under Article 13.0115.01, the employee they shall serve an appraisal period not exceeding six (6) calendar months in the new position. During this period period, the employee shall be returned to their former position (or equivalent to their former position as mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union) classification and pay rate without a loss in seniority in seniority, should they prove unsatisfactory or unable or unwilling to perform the following circumstances:duties of the new position.

Appraisal Period. (ia) When a currently employed regular permanent employee is selected to fill a vacancy posted under Article 13.01Section 14:01, the employee they shall serve an appraisal period not exceeding six (6) calendar months in the new position. During this period period, the employee shall be returned to their former position (or equivalent to their former position as mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union) classification and pay rate without a loss in seniority in seniority, should they desire to return, or the following circumstances:Employer feels that they have proven to be unsatisfactory or unable to perform the duties of the new position.
