Article 23 - Job Security. It is agreed that the existing clause will be replaced by the following: No CUPE Local 1698 employee who transferred from the Fraser Valley Regional Library to the Surrey Public Library on March 17, 1983, or any employees hired by the Surrey Public Library Board from that date to the signing of this Memorandum of Agreement will be laid-off as a result of the Library contracting out work or services performed by members of the Bargaining Unit on or before the date of this Memorandum of Agreement. FOR THE UNION: FOR THE LIBRARY: Notwithstanding the terms in the Collective Agreement, the following shall apply with respect to the provision of Library Branch service on Sundays. 1. Sundays will be incorporated into the schedules as a regular day of work. 2. All employees may be required to work Sunday subject to their assigned work schedule except employees hired prior to January 1, 2003 will not be required to work on Sunday. 3. Casual employees will be paid at straight time, plus a shift premium for all hours worked on a Sunday. 4. Hours worked on Sundays by regular employees shall not be used in calculating seniority. 5. Hours worked for Sunday openings shall not be used in calculating overtime. 6.   • JOB SECURITY 23.01 Subject to the willingness and capacity of individual employees to accept relocation and retraining, the Employer will make every reasonable effort to ensure that any reduction in the work force will be accomplished through attrition.

  • Airport Security The Contractor shall be familiar with and conduct its operations in accordance with all regulations and directives of the Authority and the Transportation Security Administration, and any other federal, state or local government having jurisdiction over the airport, with respect to the maintenance of airport security.

  • Password Security You are responsible for maintaining adequate security and control of any and all User IDs, Passwords, hints, personal identification numbers (PINs), or any other codes that you use to access the Account. Do not discuss, compare, or share information about your account number or password unless you are willing to give them full use of your money. Any loss or compromise of the foregoing information and/or your personal information may result in unauthorized access to your Account by third-parties and the loss or theft of any funds held in your Account and any associated accounts, including your Account.   • Internet Security The Service utilizes a comprehensive security strategy to protect your accounts and transactions conducted over the Internet. Prior to activating your access to the Service, our Internet Banking Department will verify your identity and authorization against information associated with the Eligible Account (s) that you request to be linked to the Service. Access IDs and Passcodes - One of the main security features protecting the Service is the unique combination of your Access Identification Code (Access ID) and Passcode. During the enrollment process, you will be asked to select a unique Access ID, and then choose a Passcode that will be used to gain access to the Service. You determine your own Passcode, which is encrypted in our database. Neither this Institution nor its Service Providers have access to this information. The Service will automatically deactivate your account after three unsuccessful login attempts within a 24-hour time frame. You may reset your passcode online or you may contact this Institution for assistance. Because your Passcode is used to access your accounts, you should treat it as you would any other sensitive personal data. • You should carefully select a Passcode that is hard to guess. • You should not use words based on your name, address or other personal information. • Special characters may be used to increase security. • Do NOT use dictionary words. The “Help” link within the Service will offer tips on choosing a secure Passcode that you can remember. • Keep your Passcode safe. • Memorize your Passcode and do NOT write it down. • You should also change your Passcode occasionally, such as every 90 days. • A Passcode should be changed immediately if you suspect that your Passcode has been compromised. This can be done at any time from the “User Services” menu after you log on to the Service.   • Bill of Rights for Data Privacy and Security As required by Education Law Section 2-d, the Parents Bill of Rights for Data Privacy and Security and the supplemental information for the Service Agreement are included as Exhibit A and Exhibit B, respectively, and incorporated into this DPA. Contractor shall complete and sign Exhibit B and append it to this DPA. Pursuant to Education Law Section 2-d, the EA is required to post the completed Exhibit B on its website.

  • ARTICLE UNION SECURITY It is agreed that all employees covered by this Agree- ment shall become and remain members of the Union in good standing as a condition of employment. New employees shall make application for membership in the Union at the time of their hiring and shall become and remain members of the Union in good standing, as a condition of employment. The Employer agrees that it will inform all new employees prior to or at the time of hiring of the Union security provisions of the Agree- ment. The Employer or designate will during the first three (3) weeks of each individual’s employment make known to the new employee the names and work locations of union stewards in the store. The Employer shall, during the term of this Agreement, as a condition of employment, deduct from members of the bargaining unit the regular weekly Union Dues and such Dues shall be remitted to the Union prior to the 15th day of the month following the month in which such deduction is made. The Employer shall notify the Union of new full-time employees’ classifications and rates of pay in addition to ter- minations, on a monthly basis. Deduction statements shall be documented by location, containing the full name of the employee and his starting date and social insurance number subject to the employee consenting to the use of his or her social insurance number. The Employer agrees to record the annual Union Dues deductions for each employee on his Form. Employers shall provide dues information to the Union in an electronic format acceptable to both parties. In the event that such weekly Dues are changed during the term of the Agreement, such change must be given to the Employer by notice properly authorized by Union Officials and shall become effective within one month following the date the notice is received. New employees shall be documented and documents for- warded to the Union Office within two (2) weeks of hiring. The first sixty (60) days worked at each store shall be con- sidered a probationary period. It is understood between the Employer and the Union that a probationary employee shall be considered an employee for all purposes of the Agree- ment save that a probationary employee may be dismissed at any time during the probationary period.

  • CONTRACT SECURITY 8.2.1 The Contractor shall, prior to the Commencement Date or within the specified time, provide to the Owner any contract security specified in row D.2 of the Information Sheet.

  • – SENIORITY AND JOB SECURITY 9.01 (a) Seniority and service for full-time employees shall be defined as the length of continuous service with the Home since the date of last hire, subject to Article 9.03-9.05, 9.17, 9.18 and 11.10 and any other related provision of the Collective Agreement.
