Association Committee. 1. The Association Council shall be assisted in the performance of its duties by an Association Committee composed of representatives of the Members of the Council of the European Union and of the Commission of the European Communities, on the one hand, and representatives of the Government of Chile, on the other, normally at senior officials level.
2. The Association Committee shall be responsible for the general implementation of this Agreement.
3. The Association Council shall establish the rules of procedure of the Association Committee.
4. The Association Committee shall have the power to take decisions in the cases provided for in this Agreement or where such power has been delegated to it by the Association Council. In this event the Association Committee shall take its decisions in accordance with the conditions laid down in Article 5.
5. The Association Committee shall generally meet once a year for an overall review of the implementation of this Agreement, on a date and with an agenda agreed in advance by the Parties, in Brussels one year and in Chile the next. Special meetings may be convened, by mutual agreement, at the request of either of the Parties. The Association Committee shall be chaired alternately by a representative of each of the Parties.

Association Committee. The Association shall be represented in grievance/arbitration proceedings by a committee consisting of not more than three (3) Association members along with any appropriate MEA representation designated by the Association. These members shall be permitted to transact official Association business on the grounds and in the buildings of the Employer at all reasonable times, provided that this shall not interfere with or interrupt normal college operations or the usual teaching or other duties of the faculty. The Association will furnish the Employer with the names of the said representatives and such changes therein as may occur from time to time. The Employer shall not be required to recognize or deal with any other than those so designated. A bargaining unit member shall be entitled upon request to a reasonable amount of time to secure the presence of a Committee member at any meeting requested by the Administration which the Administration recognizes will or may lead to disciplinary action against the bargaining unit member. The foregoing need not be observed by the Administration in cases in which emergency action is appropriate.
Association Committee. 6.15.3.1. An Association committee comprised of three (3) representatives and an alternate will administer the provisions of this leave bank.
6.15.3.2. The Committee will determine unit member eligibility for catastrophic leave; determine the number of days to be granted, if any, considering such factors as the anticipated duration of the illness, and previous use of sick leave and catastrophic leave.
6.15.3.3. The committee will establish procedures for requesting and donating sick leave credits and will act prudently to ensure that a sufficient number of days are in the leave bank to meet anticipated needs.
6.15.3.4. The committee will approve and designate appropriate forms for donating and requesting catastrophic leave credits; determine the method of proration for sick leave days returned to donors upon discontinuance of the program; and, be bound by appropriate rules of confidentiality.

Association Committee. This Committee shall be composed of three representatives of the Association and three representatives of the Hospital. The membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual consent.
Association Committee. The Hospital agrees to recognize four (4) nurses who shall be appointed to act on behalf of the Local Association. The Hospital further agrees to appoint an equal number of Hospital representatives to the Committee. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.
Association Committee. The Employer will recognize an Association-Management Committee consisting of two (2) staff nurses appointed by the Association and two (2) Employer representatives. The purpose of this committee shall be to discuss matters of mutual concern relating to nursing care. This shall include the content of Orientation and In-service programs. Such meetings shall be held at the request of either party. A written agenda will be submitted by the party requesting the meeting and will list matters which are to be discussed. The agenda will be submitted to the other party at least one (1) week in advance.
Association Committee. As provided for in the Article (a), in addition to the Local President, two (2) nurses may be appointed to act on behalf of the Local Association along with an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. The Association will provide the Employer with the names of its representatives and any changes thereto. A list of representatives of the Association will be posted on all units within the Hospital. The posting and filing with the Association of the seniority list for nurses, as provided for Article shall be in September and March of each year. In addition, an up-to-date seniority list shall be provided wherever there is a lay-off in excess of five ( 5 ) consecutive tours. Lists shall be posted as well as one being filed with the Association. G LEAVE OF ABSENCE ASSOCIATION BUSINESS When a written request as provided for in Article is made by the Association, the Hospital will grant leaves of absence for Association business subject to the following limitations: The total number of days for all such leaves shall not exceed (25) days per year inclusive of both full-time and part-time bargaining units. No more than two (2) nurses shall be absent at any one time, except where otherwise provided for in this Collective Agreement. No more than one (1) nurse from any one area shall be absent at any one time, except where otherwise provided for this Collective Agreement. The Association will provide the Hospital with four
