Assembly Procedure. Prior to the start of the manufacturing process, the contractor shall prepare and submit an Assembly Procedure, identifying each step in the process of preparing the assembly from the contained parts for review and approval. The contractor shall not begin assembly of the Mating Ring Assembly without a Government approved assembly procedure.

Assembly Procedure. Each unit member (elementary and secondary) shall be given in his or her handbook a complete procedure to be followed for all types of assemblies (cafeteria, auditorium and gymnasium).

Assembly Procedure. The Contractor shall develop and submit Assembly Procedures (CDRL A016) including clearly identifying all steps necessary to assemble and dissassemble the MK 48 MOD 7 APB6/TI‐1 G&C Section, G&C FIRs and WES Kit. The Assembly Procedures shall include detailed operator instructions on how to disassemble or assemble a FIR item or Section (i.e. removing/installing boards into a cardbox, removing/installing covers, removing/installing cables, removing/installing each subassembly that is connectorized, etc.) including torques and any other steps necessary to assembly/disassemble the item. The Contractor shall develop and submit detailed Critical Manufacturing Procedures (CDRL A016). At minimum, the Contractor shall develop and submit detailed Critical Manufacturing Procedures (CDRL A016) specific to Array assembly. This minimum submission shall include the following items, if applicable to the design:  Element Assembly - At a minimum, this procedure shall contain processes including but not limited to cleaning of parts, assembly of the ceramic stack, element bonding, wire attachments, adhesive applications, surface preparation, conformal coating, tailmass machining and tuning, head mass coating, ceramic manufacturing, and ring selection procedures.  Isolator Assembly - At a minimum, this procedure shall contain processes for parts cleaning, machining of isolator components, surface preparation and bonding of isolator components.  Array Transducer Assembly - At a minimum, this procedure shall contain processes for parts cleaning, isolator bonding, both to the frame and to the elements. This procedure shall also contain detailed element selection and verification criteria (including mount integrity). This procedure shall also detail the surveillance methods to insure the bond integrity is acceptable throughout the production run.  Array Assembly - At a minimum, this procedure shall contain processes for parts cleaning, surface preparation, bonding the window to the Transducer Assembly, and window fabrication and installation.  In Process Testing – At a minimum, this procedure shall define requirements for element level testing to determine element and mount integrity during critical steps of element and Array assembly. In addition, these requirements shall be used to evaluate the array during environmental testing.   • Procedure If any action is brought against an Underwriter, a Selected Dealer or a Controlling Person in respect of which indemnity may be sought against the Company pursuant to Section 6.1, such Underwriter, such Selected Dealer or Controlling Person, as the case may be, shall promptly notify the Company in writing of the institution of such action and the Company shall assume the defense of such action, including the employment and fees of counsel (subject to the reasonable approval of such Underwriter or such Selected Dealer, as the case may be) and payment of actual expenses. Such Underwriter, such Selected Dealer or Controlling Person shall have the right to employ its or their own counsel in any such case, but the fees and expenses of such counsel shall be at the expense of such Underwriter, such Selected Dealer or Controlling Person unless (i) the employment of such counsel at the expense of the Company shall have been authorized in writing by the Company in connection with the defense of such action, or (ii) the Company shall not have employed counsel to have charge of the defense of such action, or (iii) such indemnified party or parties shall have reasonably concluded that there may be defenses available to it or them which are different from or additional to those available to the Company (in which case the Company shall not have the right to direct the defense of such action on behalf of the indemnified party or parties), in any of which events the reasonable fees and expenses of not more than one additional firm of attorneys selected by such Underwriter (in addition to local counsel), Selected Dealer and/or Controlling Person shall be borne by the Company. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, if any Underwriter, Selected Dealer or Controlling Person shall assume the defense of such action as provided above, the Company shall have the right to approve the terms of any settlement of such action which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
