Availability and Reliability Sample Clauses

Availability and Reliability. ‌ Availability in IoT applications is essential in ensuring effective utilization of IoT resources. For instance, MTC devices corresponding to applications with critical infrastructure features of control and connection to wireless networks requires high availability of wireless network connectivity. 5G is a promising network architecture available with minimal downtimes with low energy consumption and accessed by low-cost devices such as in MTC applications. There are guaranteed availability and very high-reliability connectivity, and service and end-to-end delays appear in a magnitude ranging between several milliseconds. This assures an operation which is reliable and uninterrupted for mission-critical applications [99].
