AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL. When a teacher is absent from school during assigned instructional time, for a half (½) day or more, the Board shall employ a teacher teaching on call to replace the absent teacher upon being informed of such absence.
AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL. 1. When a teacher is absent from the workplace the Board will normally provide a teacher-teaching- on-call to replace that teacher if a teacher-teaching-on-call has been requested by the teacher or principal, provided a teacher-teaching-on-call is available.
AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL a. Under normal circumstances, a Teacher Teaching on Call shall be provided for all absent employees who have instructional duties whenever a qualified Teacher Teaching on Call is available who can provide appropriate instruction.
AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL. When a teacher is absent from a school, the Board shall employ a teacher teaching on call (TTOC) to replace that teacher.
AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL. 1. Under normal circumstances, a Teacher Teaching On Call will be engaged when a teacher who registers a class is absent.
2. When for any reason the teacher is absent from a school for one-half (1/2) day or more, the Board shall employ a Teacher Teaching On Call to replace that teacher upon being informed of such absence.
3. Except in emergency situations, cover-off is voluntary, and as such, teachers, except Teacher Teaching On Call and those teachers whose assignment is that of permanent Teacher Teaching On Call, shall not be required:
a. to perform the tuition or instructional duties of a teacher who is absent;
b. to supervise the students of a teacher who is absent.
AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL. 1. Normally when a classroom teacher is absent from school, a teacher teaching on call or replacement teacher shall be employed to replace that teacher.
2. A school administrative officer will only require a teacher to cover classes not regularly assigned in emergent situations where time is critical, where time involved is minimal or where there is unavailability of a teacher teaching on call or replacement teacher.
3. Arrangements for class coverage may be made between teachers only with the Principal's approval.
AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL. 1. It shall be normal practice for the Board to employ a Teacher-Teaching-On-Call to replace that teacher upon being informed of such absence.
2. Teachers, except Teachers-Teaching-On-Call, shall not be required:
a. to perform instructional duties of a teacher who is absent;
b. to supervise the students of a teacher who is absent, except in emergency situations.
AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL. 1. When a teacher is absent from a school for half a day or longer and classroom coverage is necessary, a teacher teaching on call shall be employed to replace that teacher.
2. When a teacher is absent from a school for less than half a day, arrangements for class coverage may be made between teachers subject to the principal's approval.
3. In emergency situations, a teacher may be required to perform the duties of a teacher who is absent or to supervise their students.
4. The teacher teaching on call shall be required to assume only the duties of the teacher they are replacing unless advised of other circumstances before accepting the assignment.
AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL. 23.1 Teachers, except teachers teaching on call and those teachers whose assignment is that of permanent teacher teaching on call shall not regularly be required:
AVAILABILITY OF TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL. 1. When coverage is necessary for an employee with instructional duties who is absent from school, a teacher teaching on call shall be employed.
2. In emergency situations, where time is critical, an employee may be required to perform the duties of an employee who is absent or to supervise their students.
3. An employee or an Administrative Officer may, at the request of a colleague and with the approval of the Principal, cover a class for up to but not to exceed one (1) sixty (60) minute period. No employee shall be provided with coverage for more than one (1) sixty (60) minute period of time per day. No employee shall be required to perform such coverage.
