BASIC WORKWEEK AND BASIC WORKWEEK DEFINED. A workweek is defined to consist of seven consecutive calendar days, and a basic workweek is defined to consist of five workdays of eight hours each. The days in the basic workweek shall be known as workdays and the other days in the workweek shall be known as non-workdays. Employees may be scheduled to work more or less than five days per week or for more or less than eight hours per day, but in any such event the basic workweek shall continue to be as herein defined. 302.2 BASIC WORKWEEK The basic workweek shall be from Monday through Friday.

  • Basic Workweek The basic workweek for full-time employees shall be forty (40) hours, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour days. The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

  • Standard Work Day The standard work day for non-shift employees shall be seven (7) hours exclusive of the meal period.

  • Work Day and Work Week (A) The normal hours of work for all full-time employees shall be thirty-five (35) hours per week, or seventy (70) hours per two consecutive weeks. All employees are entitled to thirty-two (32) consecutive hours free from work each week, unless overtime rates are paid, as per Article 29.02.

  • Overtime Work Definition Overtime for non-exempt employees working any work schedule is actual time worked in excess of forty (40) hours per workweek.

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.
