Standard Workweek. Except as noted below the standard workweek for full-time employees consists of five (5) consecutive eight (8) hour days, Monday through Friday each week. Non-overtime hours and starting and quitting times for such employees shall be the same throughout the standard workweek. The standard workweek does not apply to the following:
1. Alternative and/or compressed workweek schedules and flextime arrangements;
2. Cases where flexible hours are inherent to the job as an established condition of employment;
3. Those employees whose work is continued by other employees who relieve them and continue those same work tasks.
4. Employees described in 2 and 3 above who do not work the standard workweek schedule are subject to Section 4 below. The Employer may not change the work schedule of an employee who works a standard workweek to avoid the payment of overtime or accrual of compensatory time.

Standard Workweek. The standard workweek shall consist of forty (40) hours of work on five (5) days, which days shall be consecutive. Employer’s standard workweek for overtime pay computation purposes shall be one hundred and sixty-eight (168) consecutive hours beginning at 12:01 A.M. through 12:00 midnight. The Employer agrees to notify the Union of any change in the standard workweek.
Standard Workweek. (a) Except for those employees provided for in paragraph (c) and (d) below, the standard workweek shall consist of thirty-five (35) hours of work on any five (5) consecutive days, only one (1) of which can be a Saturday or Sunday. Thirty (30) days' written notice shall be given for a change in the five (5) consecutive working days.
(b) Regular part-time employees may be scheduled to work less than seven (7) hours per day and thirty-five (35) hours per week, as per Article 2.
(c) For those regular employees who were in the employ of the College on September 1, 1975, in accordance with the terms of their appointment letters, the standard workweek shall consist of thirty-five (35) hours of work in a Monday through Friday workweek. The workday shall consist of seven (7) working hours per day.
(d) The Union and the Employer recognize that various versions exist of a modified workweek concept which average thirty-five (35) hours per week. It is understood and agreed that such cases are exceptions to Clause 15.1(a) and (c) only in respect to the thirty-five (35) hour limitation, and the seven (7) hour per day limitation.
(e) Where, for bona fide operational reasons the Employer schedules employees to work Saturday or Sunday, the following criteria shall apply:
(i) New positions created and vacant positions may include Saturday and/or Sunday as a regular workday. Postings for these positions shall state the consecutive days of work.
(ii) No regular employee hired prior to April 27, 2000 shall be required to work Saturday or Sunday as a regular workday, unless the employee is currently scheduled to work Saturday or Sunday.
(iii) A premium of one (1) additional hour of pay per shift shall apply to all regularly scheduled work on Saturday and Sunday.
(iv) No employee shall be laid off or have their hours of work reduced as a result of this Article.
(f) The College agrees to an overall limit of twenty percent (20%) of regular employees on regular workweeks which include Saturday and Sunday.
Standard Workweek. (a) The standard workweek shall consist of 35 hours of work on any five consecutive days, normally Monday to Friday. 20 working days' written notice shall be given for a change in the five consecutive working days.
(b) NEC determines the hours of work that are consistent with its operational requirements. Within NEC's hours of operations, every reasonable attempt will be made to be flexible in determining its employee's work hours.
(c) The Union and the Employer recognize that various versions exist of a modified workweek concept which average 35 hours per week. It is understood and agreed that such cases are exceptions to Clauses 14.1(a) and 14.2(a) only in respect to the 35 hour limitation, and the seven hour per day limitation.
Standard Workweek. The standard workweek for full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be forty (40) hours, exclusive of the time allotted for meal periods, consisting of five
Standard Workweek. A workweek is a period of time consisting of seven consecutive days. A standard workweek is from Sunday morning (12:01 a.m.) to midnight the following Saturday. Alternate workweeks (beginning and ending on a day other than the above) may be scheduled by the University.
Standard Workweek. A standard workweek shall be forty (40) hours for full-time Registered Nurses, or 36 hours for full-time Registered Nurses regularly scheduled to work a 12-hour schedule, Sunday through Saturday inclusive. The
Standard Workweek. The College identifies the standard workweek as seven (7) consecutive days, 12:00 am, Monday through 11:59 pm, Sunday, unless specified by the department.
Standard Workweek. (a) The standard workweek shall consist of 35 hours of work on any five consecutive days. The workday shall consist of seven hours per day.
(b) The Union and the Employer recognize that there exist various versions of a modified workweek concept, which average 35 hours per week, all of which have been approved by the Labour Standards Branch. It is understood that such cases are exceptions to Clause 16.1(a) only in respect to the 35 hour limitation, and the seven hour per day limitation.
(c) When employees are scheduled to work Saturday or Sunday, the following criteria shall apply:
(1) Effective February 9, 2001, new positions created and vacant positions may include Saturday and/or Sunday as a regular workday.
(2) No regular employee hired prior to February 9, 2001, shall be required to work Saturday or Sunday as a regular workday, unless the employee is currently scheduled to work Saturday or Sunday, or is successful in posting into a position which has been posted in accordance with (3) below.
(3) The parties agree that new positions created and vacant positions shall state the current consecutive days of work. This will not preclude the Employer from changing the days of work to a different work schedule, based on operational needs, for those employees hired after July 1, 2015.
(4) No employee shall be laid off or have their hours of work reduced as a result of this article.
(5) Employees hired prior to March 14, 2005 shall receive a premium of one additional hour of pay for all regularly scheduled work on Saturday and Sunday.
(d) The modified workweek plan(s) shall not result in increased compensation to an employee.
