Benefits, Seniority and Vacation Entitlement to Laid Off Nurses. A nurse shall be entitled to paid holidays, which occur during the first (4) weeks of any layoff, or for any layoff of four (4) weeks or less duration. The foregoing applies to any affected nurse provided (s)he has worked on her/his last scheduled shift prior to the start of the layoff and that the nurse returns when recalled and works on her/his first scheduled day of work after recall. Further, the date of recall must fall within thirteen (13) calendar weeks of the date of layoff.
