Bereavement and Funeral Leave. A) An employee shall be allowed five (5) working days as funeral leave days not to be deducted from sick leave for a death in the immediate family. Immediate family is to be defined as follows: Mother, Father, Step- Mother, Step-Father, Brother, Sister, Wife or Husband, Son, Daughter, Step-children, Mother-in-law, Father-in-Law, Brother-in-Law, Sister-in-law, Son-in-Law, Daughter-in-Law, Grandparents and Grandchildren, or a member of the employee’s household.
