Best Management Practices (BMP a. Contractor shall conduct operations under this Contract so as to assure that pollutants do not enter municipal storm drain systems which systems are comprised of, but are not limited to curbs and gutters that are part of the street systems ("Stormwater Drainage System"), and to ensure that pollutants do not directly impact "Receiving Waters" (as used herein, Receiving Waters include, but are not limited to, rivers, creeks, streams, estuaries, lakes, harbors, bays and oceans). b. The Santa Xxx and San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Boards have issued National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits ("Stormwater Permits") to the County of Orange, and to the Orange County Flood Control District (District) and cities within Orange County, as co-permittees (hereinafter collectively referred to as "County Parties") which regulate the discharge of urban runoff from areas within the County of Orange, including the Premises under this Contract. The County Parties have enacted water quality ordinances that prohibit conditions and activities that may result in polluted runoff being discharged into the Stormwater Drainage System. c. To assure compliance with the Stormwater Permits and water quality ordinances, the County Parties have developed a Drainage Area Management Plan (DAMP) which includes a Local Implementation Plan (LIP) for each jurisdiction that contains Best Management Practices (BMPs) that parties using properties within Orange County must adhere to. As used herein, a BMP is defined as a technique, measure, or structural control that is used for a given set of conditions to manage the quantity and improve the quality of stormwater runoff in a cost effective manner. These BMPs are found within the County’s LIP in the form of Model Maintenance Procedures and BMP Fact Sheets (the Model Maintenance Procedures and BMP Fact Sheets contained in the DAMP/LIP shall be referred to hereinafter collectively as "BMP Fact Sheets") and contain pollution prevention and source control techniques to eliminate non-stormwater discharges and minimize the impact of pollutants on stormwater runoff. d. BMP Fact Sheets shall include but shall not be limited to the following which may be viewed for municipal activities and downloaded at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/xxxxxxxxx/xxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: i. Best Management Practices (BMP. The Owner/Developer agrees to follow the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Technical Standards for erosion and sediment control and post-construction storm water management at the Facility. Owner/Developer shall comply with the standards and guidelines of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource (WDNR), and shall comply with any additional requirements as required by City regulation or by the City Engineering Department.

  • Employment Practices Contractor agrees to abide by the following employment laws: (i)Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000e) which prohibits discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment or any applicant or recipient of services, on the basis of race, religion, color, or national origin; (ii) Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex; (iii) 45 CFR 90 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age; (iv) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disabilities; and (v) Utah's Executive Order, dated December 13, 2006, which prohibits unlawful harassment in the work place. Contractor further agrees to abide by any other laws, regulations, or orders that prohibit the discrimination of any kind by any of Contractor’s employees.

  • Financial Management System Subrecipient shall establish and maintain a sound financial management system, based upon generally accepted accounting principles. Contractor’s system shall provide fiscal control and accounting procedures that will include the following: i. Information pertaining to tuition rates, payments, and educational assistance payments; and

  • Quality Management Grantee will: 1. comply with quality management requirements as directed by the System Agency. 2. develop and implement a Quality Management Plan (QMP) that conforms with 25 TAC § 448.504 and make the QMP available to System Agency upon request. The QMP must be developed no later than the end of the first quarter of the Contract term. 3. update and revise the QMP each biennium or sooner, if necessary. Xxxxxxx’s governing body will review and approve the initial QMP, within the first quarter of the Contract term, and each updated and revised QMP thereafter. The QMP must describe Xxxxxxx’s methods to measure, assess, and improve - i. Implementation of evidence-based practices, programs and research-based approaches to service delivery; ii. Client/participant satisfaction with the services provided by Xxxxxxx; iii. Service capacity and access to services; iv. Client/participant continuum of care; and v. Accuracy of data reported to the state. 4. participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities as defined and scheduled by the state including, but not limited to data verification, performing self-reviews; submitting self-review results and supporting documentation for the state’s desk reviews; and participating in the state’s onsite or desk reviews. 5. submit plan of improvement or corrective action plan and supporting documentation as requested by System Agency. 6. participate in and actively pursue CQI activities that support performance and outcomes improvement. 7. respond to consultation recommendations by System Agency, which may include, but are not limited to the following: i. Staff training; ii. Self-monitoring activities guided by System Agency, including use of quality management tools to self-identify compliance issues; and iii. Monitoring of performance reports in the System Agency electronic clinical management system.

  • Management; Community Policies Owner may retain employees and management agents from time to time to manage the Property, and Owner’s agent may retain other employees or contractors. Resident, on behalf of himself or herself and his or her Guests, agrees to comply fully with all directions from Owner and its employees and agents, and the rules and regulations (including all amendments and additions thereto, except those that substantially modify the Resident’s bargain and to which Resident timely objects) as contained in this Agreement and the Community Policies of the Property.
