Common use of BLOOD DONORS Clause in Contracts

BLOOD DONORS. 20.1 A full time or part time employee shall be entitled to be absent with pay for up to 2 hours, on not more than 4 occasions each year for the purpose of donating blood. 20.2 Provided that the absence shall be on a day suitable to the Company and it be as close as possible to the beginning or ending of ordinary working hours. 20.3 The employee shall notify the Company as soon as possible of the date and time the employee is required to donate blood and that upon request shall provide proof, satisfactory to the Company, of the actual attendance of the employee at a recognised place for the purpose of donating blood.
