Common use of Boiler Maintenance/Guarded Status Clause in Contracts

Boiler Maintenance/Guarded Status. To the extent that current legislation remains unchanged, and to the extent that an associate is to be designated as being responsible for the Guarded Status testing of the boiler; It is understood between the parties that required maintenance associates who are not 4th Class Power Engineers or higher but who are qualified may be designated as being responsible for Guarded Status testing of the boiler and as such will be paid a premium of fifty-seven (57¢) cents per hour for all time worked by them on a shift on which they are so designated. It is further understood:
