Joint Labour Management Meetings. The Employer and the Union agree to hold Joint Labour Management (JLM) Meetings to discuss any items that are a concern to either party arising out of the operation of the Gas Bar facilities covered by the Collective Agreement. The purpose of these meetings is to promote a harmonious relationship between the management and employees. The parties will determine the frequency of the JLMs.
Joint Labour Management Meetings. (a) There shall be a Union-Management Committee consisting of two representatives of the Union and two representatives of the Employer. An additional resource person may accompany the representatives of either party on mutual agreement.
(b) The Committee shall meet quarterly at the request of either party to discuss matters of concern. Meetings shall be at a mutually agreed time and place. Each party shall notify the other party of the proposed Agenda as far in advance of the meeting as possible, but no later than one week before the meeting. The meetings shall be co-chaired between a Union member and an Employer member.
(c) The purpose of the Union-Management Committee is to discuss items of mutual concern to Management and Staff. The Committee shall not have the power to alter, amend or modify the specific terms of the Agreement, nor to deal with any matter which is or could be the subject of a grievance.
(d) Employee members of the Union-Management Committee shall suffer no loss of earnings for attending meetings of the Committee during their regularly scheduled hours.
Joint Labour Management Meetings. During the course of negotiations leading to the renewal of the Collective Agreement in 2015, the parties discussed at length the importance of establishing and maintaining a mechanism of effective communication. As a result, the Company and the Union agree to form a committee of up to four (4) representatives of the union, selected by the union, one of which shall be the Chief Shop Xxxxxxx or their designate and up to four (4) management representatives. Associates participating on this committee shall suffer no reduction in their pay. The full time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The Committee will meet on a monthly basis for the purposes of discussing matters of importance to the business, local issues and opportunities which may arise affecting the welfare of the associates, and the ongoing relationship of the parties. It is clearly understood by the parties that this forum of communication is NOT to discuss grievances. Minutes of meetings shall be taken and signed by the Chief Shop Xxxxxxx and the Company prior to them being posted and distributed to each member of the committee. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction to interpret and/or amend any of the terms and conditions contained in the Collective Agreement.
Joint Labour Management Meetings. 5.01 A Joint Labour/Management meeting will be held at a minimum quarterly or as required. There shall be no loss of regular pay for attendance at these meetings.
Joint Labour Management Meetings. 31.01 The Company and the Union agree to meet for the purposes of promoting co-operation between the Parties and for discussing issues relating to the business which affect the parties or any employees bound by this Agreement. Both parties agree to meet a minimum of once every three (3) months. The Parties will alternate taking minutes and both parties will review and agree upon the minutes prior to posting and distribution.
Joint Labour Management Meetings. FTG and the Union agreed that during the term of the new Collective Agreement, Joint Labour Management Meetings shall be held on a monthly basis. These meeting will take place in the first week of each calendar month, except as otherwise agreed to by FTG and the Union. Members of the Plant Committee and FTG Aerospace Division Management Representatives shall participate in these meetings. Unifor National and Local 303 Representatives, as well as the FTG HR Manager shall also participate in the Joint Labour Management monthly meetings when required or requested, subject to their availability. When possible the Union and FTG will provide to the other party an agenda of topics to be discussed in their next meeting. The agenda should be distributed to both parties at least one (1) week in advance of the monthly Joint Labour Management Meeting. It is understood and agreed by both the Union and FTG that the monthly Joint Labour Management meeting shall not be used to discuss amendments to this Collective Agreement, or grievances, but rather to openly discuss matters of mutual concern with the intention of resolving them. Other mutually agreed purposes for the Joint Labour Management meetings are to improve Labour Management communications within the FTG Aerospace division, and to maintain an ongoing constructive working relationship amongst FTG Management, its Employees and the Union. This Letter of Understanding shall expire on the expiration date of the current collective agreement.

Parties agree to meet on an as-required basis, the chair rotates; the Company will take minutes and both parties to agree upon the minutes prior to distribution. While not forming part of the Collective Agreement, the Union has provided the Company for reference purposes a guideline for such joint labour/management meetings which are described in Appendix “C”.
Joint Labour Management Meetings. Labour Management meetings will be used for the purposes of seeking and providing information and advice, exchanging views, and discussing issues, at the level appropriate to addressing or resolving issues, in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. To be effective, the process must be based on an honest and open commitment, by both parties, to the sharing of information and to listening to each other's opinions, observations, and recommendations, prior to decisions being taken. This allows each party to understand the full implications of decisions and actions on their legitimate interests. Structure Labour Management meetings will be structured as follows: Employer Representatives • Manager(s) of Facility • Supervisor (if applicable) • HR/LR Lead • Invitations may be extended to the GM of the region or other members of the Leadership Team Bargaining Agent Representatives • Shop Xxxxxxx(s) • Union Employee • Business Agent/President of Local (if available) Meeting Times There will be monthly meetings, time and dates will be set on an annual basis and mutually agreed. Additional meetings may be scheduled should an urgent matter requiring consultation arise that must be dealt with prior to the regularly scheduled Labour Management Meeting. Agenda Members participating in the Labour Management Meetings are responsible for providing agenda items to the employer/union two (2) business days prior to the scheduled meetings. Items not on the agenda may be discussed at the meeting with the approval of the parties. Meeting Minutes A member of the Labour Management meetings will be assigned the responsibility to take notes. These notes will be available within five (5) business days after the meeting, to be reviewed and signed by one (1) member of the Employer Representatives, and one (1) member of the Bargaining Agent Representatives. Minutes will be posted within two (2) days of signature, within the communication boards of the facility. Copies will be provided to all participants of the Labour Management Meetings, HR/LR department, as well the union local when requested. If there are no agenda items for a particular month, it is noted and the Meeting Minutes are posted and communicated noting this. The existence of this committee will not affect employees’ rights under Article 11.

Joint Labour Management Meetings. On a Bi-Monthly basis (every other month), the Company and Union will meet to discuss issues pertaining to the safe and efficient operation of the Calgary facility. The Meeting will be attended by the following persons: Union: The Teamster Business Agent and any xxxxxxx that has brought forward an agenda item from each of the following departments, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Distribution, Production Maintenance/Fleet Maintenance and Equipment Service (to a maximum of five (5) stewards.) Company: The Plant Manager, Distribution Centre Manager, the Human Resources Business Partner. An agreed upon agenda (including the length of the meeting) will be developed between the parties two (2) weeks in advance of the meeting. Items that have arisen after agenda will be heard at the first opportunity. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss, and review matters pertinent to the facility. Matters to be discussed include: • The current state of the business • Projected workflow, volume trends and business forecasts • Corporate initiatives • Capital investments and facility updates • Subjects regarding employee engagement • Opportunities to bring new work to the facility • Any other significant issues It is understood that the purpose of these meetings is to xxxxxx better communication between the parties. Additional attendees to this meeting may be invited by joint agreement between the parties. These meetings will not be used to replace other meetings or processes defined under the collective agreement including the grievance process. In the event these meeting prove not to be effective, either party can place the holding of these meetings as a topic on the agenda for the next meeting (in an effort to get these meeting on track.) If following that meeting the parties are unable to agree to a method of making them useful, the scheduling of this meeting can be cancelled with thirty (30) days written notice to either party.
