Bypass of Arbitration to Grievance Mediation. By mutual written agreement, the Superintendent and grievant may elect to enter into grievance mediation prior to submitting the grievance to arbitration. The parties shall mutually agree, in writing, on the procedures for mediation, including the handling of costs to implement the process.
