Calculation of Layoff Rating. 1. Continuous-service-date to May 23, 1986 ("historical" layoff rating). The purpose of this "historical" layoff rating is to calculate employees' service credit for purposes of the past to the date of the last full pay period May 9, 1986. These points will constitute employee's layoff rating for the past, to which the points calculated for prospective implementation (standard layoff rating) will be added as provided below: Historical layoff rating: One (1) point for each hour of continuous (unbroken) service from last date employee was hired into the classified service (80 points for each full biweekly pay period).
