Candidate protection. The above employment contract protection regulations also apply to candidates for chief shop xxxxxxx, other shop xxxxxxx, or health and safety representative’s position put forward by the association or by the salaried employees when the employer has been informed of the candidacy in writing. Similarly, they apply to candidates for health and safety representative of whose candidacy the health and safety committee has been informed in writing. This candidate protection begins at the earliest three months before the beginning of the term of the chief shop xxxxxxx, shop xxxxxxx or health and safety representative who is to be elected, and ceases when the results of the election are announced.
Candidate protection. The above employment protection provisions must also apply to candidates for chief shop xxxxxxx and shop xxxxxxx nominated by the organisation or senior sal- aried employees, the nomination of whom has been notified in writing to the em- ployer. Moreover, the provisions must apply to candidates for occupational health and safety representative, the nomination of whom has been notified in writing to the occupational health and safety committee. Protection for a candidate neverthe- less begins no earlier than three months before the start of the term of office of the chief shop xxxxxxx and occupational health and safety representative who are to be elected and ends, for any candidate other than the person elected in a ballot, when the result of the ballot has been established.
Candidate protection. The employment protection provisions above must also apply to the head shop xxxxxxx candidate, who has been appointed by the professional department's meet- ing and whose appointment has been notified to the employer in writing, as well as to the occupational safety delegate, whose appointment has been notified to the health and safety committee or other corresponding cooperation body in writing. The candidate protection, however, begins at the earliest three months before the head shop xxxxxxx'x or occupational safety delegate's term of office begins and ends when the election results are realised. Posterior protection Employment protection provisions shall also apply to a head shop xxxxxxx or occu- pational safety delegate for six months after his duties in question have ended.
