Care of Animal. The Licensee is required to ensure the animal is well cared for at all times. Any evidence of mistreatment or abuse may result in immediate removal of the ESA/Assistance Animal and/or eviction of the licensee and/or referral of the licensee to the Office of Student Conduct Rights and Responsibilities (SCRR) for potential violation of University policy. The Licensee must fully cooperate with University personnel with regard to meeting the terms of this agreement and developing procedures for care of the animal (e.g., cleaning the animal, feeding/watering the animal, designating an outdoor relief area if applicable, disposing of feces, etc.). ESA/Assistance Animals may not be left overnight in SHRL to be cared for by any licensee other than the above named Licensee. If the Licensee is to be absent from their residence hall overnight or longer, the animal must accompany the Licensee. The Licensee is responsible for ensuring that the ESA/Assistance Animal is crated or otherwise contained, as appropriate, in an enclosed and secure space when the Licensee is not present during the day while attending classes or other activities (not loose in a single room). SHRL personnel shall not be required to provide care or food for any Assistance Animal including, but not limited to, removing the animal during emergency evacuation for events such as a fire alarm. Emergency personnel will determine whether to remove the animal and will not be held responsible for the care, damage to, or loss of the animal.
Care of Animal. The student is required to ensure the Animal is well cared for at all times. Any evidence of mistreatment, abuse, neglect, or leaving the Assistance or Service Animal unattended for unreasonably long periods of time may result in immediate removal of the Assistance or Service Animal and/or discipline, pursuant to the Student Code of Conduct.
Care of Animal. 1. The SAE is the student’s project and responsibility. ASTs oversee and advise students regarding the care of the animal. ASTs can require students to attend coaching sessions as needed based on established benchmarks for the project.
Care of Animal. Based on the Agreement, I will take care of the animal to the best of my ability. I will take care of the animal in a good and humane manner, meaning at least the level of care generally accepted for a pet of this species. I will not be able to return it to USC Aiken for any reason. I will not sell, release or give the animal away unless extreme circumstances require it, and then I will make every effort to secure a satisfactory home environment.
Care of Animal a. AST's can utilize professional judgment based on field experiences to make recommendations of treatment methods for ill animals. GPISD and its employees will not be held liable for the administration or outcome of treatment methods. GPISD recommends the utilization of a veterinarian as the primary method of treatment.
