Care of Grounds. Keep any grounds, yards and surfaced areas in a tidy condition and maintain any garden or lawn areas in a tidy and cared for condition.

Care of Grounds. 1. Seed new lawns. Small areas around building will be seeded by the head custodian. 2. Cut and water grass, maintain shrubs and landscaping directly associated with that building. 3. Keep fenced areas secured when not in use. 4. Fertilize area next to buildings as is necessary. 5. See that paper, rubbish, stones and foreign matter are removed from school grounds DAILY.
Care of Grounds. Keeping up the appearance of the development is a job that you and the HACC share. You are responsible for the care of all grounds and walks around your unit. Maintenance is responsible for the care of all grounds and walks used by the community as a whole. The sidewalks, entrances, porches, floors, front yards and back yards shall be kept free from rubbish. Keeping your yard clear of papers and litter is a year round job. We think you’ll find it a good practice to go over your lawn once a day and pick up trash in your yard. Shopping carts are not permitted on the HACC grounds and are considered stolen property. Bicycles, strollers, toys or other similar articles shall not be permitted to block sidewalks, entries, passages, and stairwells. The Tenant shall not keep any furniture (other than appropriate exterior porch furniture) trash containers or toys of any kind on porches, patios, yards, stairwells or common areas. All such articles are to be stored in the unit or exterior storage unit if one is supplied. If these items are found unattended, they will be impounded and a charge will be made for their return. All items unclaimed will be disposed of after ten (10) days. HACC reserves the right to restrict any items that are left outside on your porch, patio and/or yard. In the winter, it is the responsibility of residents of Xxxx Xxxxxxx Village, Fort Cumberland Homes & Banneker Gardens to see that the walk leading from your apartment to the common area is clear of snow and ice. In the grass growing months, it is the responsibility of residents of Xxxx Xxxxxxx Village and Fort Cumberland Homes to cut your grass at least once a week to prevent the scraggly appearance that looks as though no one cares. HACC established 6 inches as the maximum height of lawns. HACC will place a tag on the Tenant’s doorknob for any lawn found to exceed this standard, and the Tenant will be given two (2) days to mow and trim the lawn before being re-inspected. If the lawn has not been cut within the two (2) day period, weather permitting, the HACC Maintenance Department will mow and trim the lawn and charge the Tenant at the current rate that is applicable at that time. The tenant shall not permit anything to be thrown out of the window of the leased premises or apartment project, or down the courts or balconies and patios of the apartment project, or the dusting or shaking of mops, brooms, or other cleaning material out of either the windows or the doors of the leased premises...
Care of Grounds notwithstanding clause 12.2, maintain any garden or lawn areas in a tidy and cared for condition.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • Religious Activities The Subrecipient agrees that funds provided under this Agreement will not be utilized for inherently religious activities prohibited by 24 CFR 570.200(j), such as worship, religious instruction, or proselytization.

  • Volunteer Peer Assistants 1. Up to eight (8)

  • Historically Underutilized Businesses (“HUBs”). In accordance with state law, it is TFC’s policy to assist HUBs whenever possible to participate in providing goods and services to the agency. TFC encourages those parties with whom it contracts for the provision of goods and services to adhere to this same philosophy in selecting subcontractors to assist in fulfilling PSP’s obligations with TFC. If PSP subcontracts with others for some or all of the services to be performed under an Assignment to this Agreement, PSP shall comply with all HUB requirements pursuant to Chapter 2161 of the Texas Government Code. At or prior to the execution of an Assignment with a value that is anticipated to meet or exceed One Hundred Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($100,000.00), PSP must provide a completed HUB Subcontracting Plan, which shall be approved by TFC prior to execution of the Assignment. A copy of the HUB Subcontracting Form is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes as Exhibit G. PSP shall provide the HUB Program of TFC with pertinent details of any participation by a HUB in fulfilling the duties and obligations arising under an Assignment, on the HUB Subcontracting Plan Progress Assessment Report (“PAR”). A copy of the PAR Form is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes as Exhibit H.

  • DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE OR HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS The Engineer agrees to comply with the requirements set forth in Attachment H, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or Historically Underutilized Business Subcontracting Plan Requirements with an assigned goal or a zero goal, as determined by the State.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Section 1. The Employer agrees to provide to the Union the statistical and program evaluation information provided to management concerning Employee Assistance Program(s). Section 2. No information gathered by an Employee Assistance Program may be used to discipline an employee. Section 3. Employees shall be entitled to use accrued sick leave for participation in an Employee Assistance Program. Section 4. Each university will offer training to local Union Stewards on the Employee Assistance Program available in their university, on university time, where an Employee Assistance Program is available.

  • Medically Necessary In general, We will not Cover any dental service, procedure, treatment, test or device that We determine is not Medically Necessary. If an External Appeal Agent certified by the State overturns Our denial, however, We will Cover the service, procedure, treatment, test or device for which coverage has been denied, to the extent that such service, procedure, treatment, test or device, is otherwise Covered under the terms of this Contract.

  • Non-Medical, Personalized Services The Practice shall also provide Members with the following non-medical services:

  • Use of Affiliated Companies and Subcontractors In connection with the services to be provided by Manager under this Agreement, Manager may, to the extent it deems appropriate, and subject to compliance with the requirements of applicable laws and regulations, make use of (i) its affiliated companies and their directors, trustees, officers, and employees and (ii) subcontractors selected by Manager, provided that Manager shall supervise and remain fully responsible for the services of all such third parties in accordance with and to the extent provided by this Agreement. All costs and expenses associated with services provided by any such third parties shall be borne by Manager or such parties.

  • Professional Activities The Superintendent/Principal shall be encouraged to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state, and national levels. Within budget constraints, such costs of attendance shall be paid by the Board. The Superintendent/Principal’s attendance at professional meetings at the national level must have prior approval of the Board.
