Head Custodian. In district buildings where there is more than one Custodian, one will be called a Head Custodian. The Head Custodian will work the same shift as the rest of the crew.
Head Custodian. All other employees in the school district are excluded from the Bargaining unit.
Head Custodian. Any bargaining unit member who transfers to another job in the bargaining unit shall be placed at the same step in the new job that was occupied in the previous job.
Head Custodian. 36.1 Any person assigned to the position of head custodian shall remain in that position unless there is documented progressive discipline, which may lead to demotion to his/her prior position.
Head Custodian. The Board of Education shall determine in which classifications the layoff should occur and the number of employees to be laid off. In the classifications of layoff, employees on probation shall be laid off before any permanent employee in that classification is laid off.
Head Custodian. The Custodian designated as the “Head Custodian” for each building shall receive a premium of Sixty Cents ($.60) per hour.
Head Custodian. A Head Custodian shall receive compensation based on size of building, age of building, age level of children within the building, and other factors. The compensation is incorporated in the Head Custodian guide in Schedule A. Because of the larger size and greater complexity of the Xxxx Xxxxxxxxxxx Middle School and Princeton High School, contractual premiums for the Head Custodians of those buildings shall be paid in accordance with Schedule A.
Head Custodian. A custodian responsible for a one-person building or a custodian who has one (1) or more custodians assigned to the building in which he/she works.
Head Custodian. The Custodian designated as the “Head Custodian” for each building shall receive a premium, effective July 1, 2016, of $1.00 per hour.
Head Custodian. A. Each building shall have one Head Custodian appointed by the BOARD.
B. The creation of and the qualifications for the Head Custodian position shall be the prerogative of the BOARD. The candidates may be selected from LOCAL UNION 138 or from any other source made available to the BOARD. If in the event a vacancy is created in the Head Custodial position, the BOARD shall retain the right to select the best qualified candidate from LOCAL UNION 138 or from any other source made available to the BOARD.
C. The Head Custodian of each building shall receive $750 in annual compensation for his/her additional duties as outlined below.
D. The Head Custodian shall be responsible for:
(1) Planning and scheduling an equalized daily work load and overtime for himself/herself and his/her staff including part-time staff provided they are adequately trained and freely available for any overtime work.
(2) Normal maintenance (within the limitations of UNION regulations) of the building, grounds and equipment, mechanical and non- mechanical.
(3) Planning summer maintenance requirements for his/her building and grounds.
(4) Maintaining an inventory record of equipment and supplies used in maintaining his/her building and grounds.
(5) It shall not be compulsory for any member of this UNION to accept the responsibilities as described in this Article
(6) Cartage in his building as outlined in Article XII, Section B.
(7) Familiarized his/her subordinates with all aspects of the building.
