Casual Employment to Full Time Sample Clauses

Casual Employment to Full Time. It is agreed that when a casual employee is promoted to full time, the number of hours accrued as a casual will be credited to the qualification to benefits (including vacation entitlement). In other words, if a casual has worked one thousand one hundred twenty five (1,125) hours, they would only have to work an additional three hundred seventy five (375) hours to qualify for full benefits. Immediately upon moving from casual to full time the premium paid to casual shall not apply. On the other hand, if a casual employee has over one thousand five hundred (1,500) hours of service and is promoted to full time they would be eligible for benefits as soon as they are appointed to the full time position.
