Common use of Casual Seniority Clause in Contracts

Casual Seniority. Casual Seniority shall apply to a Casual Nurse (including a Casual Nurse in a Temporary Position) and is defined as the hours worked by a Casual Nurse from the date of the first shift worked in the Bargaining Unit and shall operate on a Bargaining Unit wide basis. A record of hours worked by a Casual Nurse shall be kept by the Employer. This record shall constitute the Casual Seniority List.
