Common use of Casual Seniority Clause in Contracts

Casual Seniority. (a) The Employer shall maintain a seniority list showing the date of first hire, last appointment date, present classification and total days and hours worked. A copy of this list shall be forwarded to the Union on February 1 of each year. (b) A casual employee who has worked in excess of 304.5 hours within any fiscal year shall accumulate seniority as a casual employee in that office. (c) Casual employees who become regular employees shall be credited with all seniority accrued as a casual.
