Casual Service Temporary Employment. Casual service temporary employment will be characterized by assignments that are less than sixty-seven (67) days in duration, and the terms and conditions of employment are established solely by the Employer. These are not positions covered by the bargaining unit. Work assignments will typically be overflow work which serves as an extension of, and not a replacement for, the normal workforce of regular employees.

  • Temporary Employee Temporary employee" means an employee who is appointed with a definite ending date. A temporary employee's term of employment may not exceed a total of 12 months in any 24-month period in any one agency.
