Common use of Certificate of Absences Clause in Contracts

Certificate of Absences. In cases of suspected abuse, chronic sick leave use, instances requiring modified duty work assignments, or at the discretion of the City Manager, a physician's certificate may be required regardless of the length of absence if the EMPLOYEE is given reasonable notice to allow provision of such physician's certificate.
