CERTIFICATION AND QUALIFICATION. All professional employees must hold certificates recognized by the State Department of Education as qualifying them for the position they hold. The application of non- degree teachers will not be considered unless qualified degree teachers are not available. It is the responsibility of the certified employee to see that the proper certificate is issued and renewed at proper intervals and on record with the Superintendent of Schools, as well as to provide other data as may be prescribed by State Law or Board Policy.
CERTIFICATION AND QUALIFICATION. A. Certification shall be defined as the appropriate State certification, approval or licensure applicable to the bargaining unit member’s assignment.
