Certified Members. Members of the Joint Health and Safety Committee shall be certified as specified in the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Union will designate the Worker Certified Member to be entitled to exercise the rights and duties of a Certified Member. The Company will designate the Employer Certified Member to be entitled to exercise the rights and duties of the Certified Member. Where the Company has provided instruction for an employee or employees the Union will designate the Worker Certified Member from existing trained workers.

Certified Members. There will be two members of the Joint Health, Safety and Environment Committee trained and certified by the Workplace Health and Safety Agency as specified under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, one (1) representing workers and one (1) representing the Company. The Union will designate the Worker Certified Member to be entitled to exercise the rights and duties of a Certified Member. The Company will designate the Employer Certified Member to be entitled to exercise the rights and duties of the Certified Member. Where the Company has provided instruction for an employee or employees the Union will designate the Worker Certified Member from existing trained workers. The employer agrees to ensure that one (1) member from the JHSC from each shift will be certified.
Certified Members. Unless otherwise prescribed, the employer shall ensure that at least one (1) member of the committee representing the employer and at least one (1) member representing the union is a certified member. If a certified member resigns or is unable to act, the employer shall, within a reasonable period of time, take all steps to ensure that a replacement is obtained. The company shall pay for such training. The union and the Company will mutually agree on the agency responsible for training the union member.
Certified Members. A person who has contributed will not be able to withdraw days from the bank until after her/his own accrued sick leave days have been depleted and a two-day deduction period has transpired for each extended illness. Should a single extended illness exceed 10 days, the deduction shall not apply.

  • Members (a) A Person shall be admitted as a Member and shall become bound by, and shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by, the terms of this Agreement if such Person purchases or otherwise lawfully acquires any Share, and such Person shall become the Record Holder of such Share, in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. A Member may be a Class A Member, a Class B Member and or Class C Member, and, in such case, shall have the rights and obligation accorded to the Class A Ordinary Shares with respect to such Class A Ordinary Shares or the rights and obligation accorded to the Class A Preferred Shares with respect to such Class A Preferred Shares, as applicable, the rights and obligations accorded to the Class B Ordinary Shares with respect to such Class B Ordinary Shares and the rights and obligations accorded to the Class C Ordinary Share with respect to such Class C Ordinary Share. A Person may become a Record Holder without the consent or approval of any of the Members and without physical execution of this Agreement. A Person may not become a Member without acquiring a Share.

  • Determinations and Actions by the Board of Directors All actions, calculations and determinations (including all omissions with respect to the foregoing) which are done or made by the Board of Directors in good faith pursuant to this Agreement, shall not subject the Board of Directors to any liability to the holders of the Rights.

  • Member The Member owns 100% of the limited liability company interests in the Company.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions.

  • FINAL DETERMINATION BY BOARD The Board shall have the right and power to adjust and determine finally all questions as to the proper and timely performance of the work and the amounts earned under this Contract, all as provided in General Conditions.

  • Additional Members One or more additional members may be admitted to the Company with the consent of the Member. Prior to the admission of any such additional members to the Company, the Member shall amend this Agreement to make such changes as the Member shall determine to reflect the fact that the Company shall have such additional members. Each additional member shall execute and deliver a supplement or counterpart to this Agreement, as necessary.

  • Religious Objections Any employee who is a member of a bonafide religion, body, or sect which has historically held conscientious objections to joining or financially supporting public employee organizations shall not be required to join or financially support the organization. Such employee shall, in lieu of periodic dues or agency shop fees, pay sums equal to said amounts to a non-religious, non-labor charitable fund exempt from taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which has been selected by the employee from a list of such funds designated by the parties hereto in a separate agreement. Such payments shall be made by payroll deduction as a condition of continued exemption from the requirements of financial support to the Union and as a condition of continued employment.

  • Professional Memberships Each employee is eligible for reimbursement for membership fees or dues paid for the maintenance of a license required to perform employee’s job and for dues paid for membership in one additional job related professional association.

  • Initial Members The initial Members of the LLC, their initial capital contributions, and their percentage interest in the LLC are as follows: Members Percentage Interest in LLC Capital Contribution (If any)

  • Religious Objection Any employee who is a member of and adheres to established and traditional tenets or teachings of a bona fide religion, body, or sect which has historically held conscientious objections to joining or financially supporting labor organizations shall not be required to join or financially support the Union as a condition of employment. Such an employee shall, in lieu of dues and fees, pay sums equal to such dues and fees to a non-religious charitable fund. These religious objections and decisions as to which fund will be used must be documented and declared in writing to the Union. Any employee exercising their right of religious objection must provide the Union with a receipt of payment to an appropriate charity on a monthly basis.
