Common use of Certified Worker Clause in Contracts

Certified Worker. The Employer accepts that one (l) CUPE member covering this Collective Agreement who is to serve on the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee will be selected among those to be trained as a certified worker under the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Any costs associated with the initial training of a certified worker will be paid by the Employer, or as may be prescribed pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Certified Worker. The Employer Hospital accepts that one (l1) CUPE member covering this Collective Agreement who is to serve on the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee will be selected among those to be trained as a certified worker workers under the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Any costs associated with the initial training of a certified worker will be paid by the EmployerHospital, or as may be prescribed pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

The Employer accepts that one (l) representative of CUPE Local 3348 sitting as a member covering this Collective Agreement who is to serve on of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee will be selected among those to be trained as a certified worker under the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Any costs associated with the initial training of a certified worker will be paid by the Employer, or as may be prescribed pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and to assume the costs resulting from this training in accordance with the dispositions of the Act.

The Employer Health Centre accepts that one (l) CUPE member covering this Collective Agreement who is to serve on the Joint Occupational Health and & Safety Committee will be selected among those to be trained as a certified worker under the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Any costs associated with the initial training and any further upgrading related to the changes in the Occupational Health & Safety Act of a certified worker will be paid by the Employer, Health Centre or as may be prescribed pursuant to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Safety Actits regulations.
