Common use of Change of Plan Carriers Clause in Contracts

Change of Plan Carriers. It is agreed that the Employer can change the carrier of any plan, provided that there is no reduction in benefits and provided that the Employer give the Union not less than thirty (30) days notice of such change, furnishes the Union with full particulars of the plan to be substituted and if requested to do so, meets with the Negotiating Committee to discuss and explain the change proposed.
