Changing Work Patterns. 14.8.1 Tenured Employees who wish to move from the Teaching-Service Pattern to the Teaching- Service-Scholarship Pattern shall submit a written request to the Xxxx no later than the eighth (8th) week of the Fall semester of the academic year before the anticipated move between the work patterns. The Xxxx shall provide a written response with rationale by the end of the tenth (10th) week of the Fall semester. 14.8.2 Tenured Employees who wish to move from the Teaching-Scholarship-Service Pattern to the Teaching-Service Pattern shall submit a written request to the Xxxx no later than 31 January of the academic year before the anticipated move between the work patterns. The Xxxx shall provide a written response with rationale by 15 February.
Changing Work Patterns. 5.6.1 When a tenured cross-appointed employee plans to change work patterns pursuant to Article 14.8, written notice shall be provided to both Chairs and Xxxxx. 5.6.2 When a tenured cross-appointed employee member opts to change to the Teaching-Service work pattern before the end of an initial three-year term in the Teaching-Scholarship-Service work pattern pursuant to Article 14.5.4, both Xxxxx must approve the change.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Employee Workload ‌ The Employer shall ensure that an employee’s workload is not unsafe as a result of employee absence(s).   • Creative Work The Executive agrees that all creative work and work product, including but not limited to all technology, business management tools, processes, software, patents, trademarks, and copyrights developed by the Executive during the term of this Agreement, regardless of when or where such work or work product was produced, constitutes work made for hire, all rights of which are owned by the Employer. The Executive hereby assigns to the Employer all rights, title, and interest, whether by way of copyrights, trade secret, trademark, patent, or otherwise, in all such work or work product, regardless of whether the same is subject to protection by patent, trademark, or copyright laws.

  • Development Schedule The Project shall substantially comply with the specific timetables and triggers for action set forth in Article 5 of this Agreement. The parties acknowledge that, as provided in G.S. 160A-400.25(b), the failure to meet a commencement or completion date shall not, in and of itself, constitute a material breach of this Agreement pursuant to G.S. 160A-400.27 but must be judged based upon the totality of the circumstances.

  • SCOPE OF THE WORK The Contractor shall furnish all the materials, perform all of the Work, and do all things required by the Contract Documents.

  • THE WORK The Work comprises the completed construction required by the Contract Documents and includes all labor necessary to produce such construction, and all materials and equipment incorporated or to be incorporated in such construction.

  • Project Work Plan The Statement of Work is the formal document incorporated into the Grant. The Project Work Plan documents how the Grantee will achieve the performance measures outlined in the Grant. Changes to the Statement of Work require an amendment. Project Work Plans may be changed with written approval from PEI and the Grantee.

  • Alternative Work Schedules Employees may request alternative work schedules such as a nine (9) day - 80 hour two week schedule or a four (4) day - 40 hour week schedule. Management will respond to an employee's request within 15 calendar days. Any changes from existing work schedules will be based on the needs of the service as determined by Management. Employees covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act will not be placed on alternate work schedules that mandate the payment of overtime under the Act.
